Greater than one weekThis is like the Post-it notes for serious tape users. It holds really well... And releases from the surface and the item secured (but not fragile substrates like paper or thin plastic). It has very specific properties that allow you to quickly bind something to a surface, and then easily remove the tape leaving no residue (most of the time). The adhesive is water based, and is therefore water soluble, so it is not for wet environments. I detail cars, and use it to hold seat belts out of the way, and to temporarily hold padding in place on high end cars. Also works to hold up sun visors in older cars that have lost their ability to stay up.

> 3 dayThis is tape. Green tape. Green gaffers tape. It is of the more matte finish then the gaffer state that have a light sheen to it.

Greater than one weekThe quality is perfect & I definitely recommend to buy one. It sticks on very strong, but “DOES NOT” damage any painted walls. I absolutely love it!

> 3 dayThis was my first time using gaffers tape, so I can’t compare this tape to any other brands. I was looking for a solution to a wire going across a walkway in my living room. I didn’t want the vacuum to get caught on it, and I wanted it to blend into the floor better than black or grey cable covers. This tan gaffers tape was the best option that I could think of. It keeps the wire in place and from being a trip hazard (for people, dogs, and the vacuum). It doesn’t collect dirt or dog hair, though I’m sure eventually it will get dirty enough that I need to put a fresh piece of tape down. Thankfully I have a whole roll that I can use in the future. I think it’ll last a long time, so this purchase was a good value for my purposes.

> 3 dayI just received this roll so I havent tested it yet but I wanted to give some initial observations Specs from WebGage Customer Care: Total thickness: 11.5 mils Adhesion to Steel: 50 oz/in Tensile Strength: 42 lb/in Matte-Finish Vinyl Coated Cloth Adhesive Type: rubber Thickness: I have used the JVCC gaffer tape (GAFF30YD/BLK230) which is 12 mil, and this is rated slightly thinner at 11.5mils. Although only a 0.5 mil difference, I think it is noticeable (perhaps different measuring standards?). The 12 mil JVCC feels closer to the thickness of electrical tape, there is a thicker spread of glue (like duct tape), its whiter, and it doesnt stretch. This Gafferpower stretches more and has a lighter spread of glue that is more gray. Sometimes thicker is better for protection, sometimes thinner is better so it wraps and grabs better. Texture: JVCC has a very unique texture that is soft and smooth, like a fine matte velvet, which looks nice and doesnt stretch. The Gafferpower is more like other gaffer tapes - mesh like duct tape and stretches. Tearing by hand: Similar, but I think due to its thickness, the JVCC tears better (sometimes jagged, threads sticking out). Need to use scissors for a nice cut. Tackiness: Similar, but JVCC has more glue. Strength: Havent tested yet. JVCC is strong. Longevity: Havent tested yet. The JVCC can leave residue on some materials over long term (e.g. plastic book covers) and the backing would slide away from the glue if theres movement; on other materials, it can be clean after months. Overall the Gafferpower still seems like good tape. EDIT: WebGage Customer Care responded to my questions about the thickness and provided specs, and after double checking, I updated my comments, giving it 5 stars. Thumbs up to WebGage!

> 3 dayExcellent for hundreds of reasons. Better quality than other brands. Better than Amazon basic tape (residue). Keep buying again and again.

> 3 dayI think this is best for inside use and not for outdoor with cold and wet. I used it to tape up some extension cords to the house for Christmas lights. Color matched our brick well, but most of it failed on the first cold rain. I used other Gaffers tape last year that held up through more sever weather. To its claim, it left no residue when it fell off, or with the few pieces left on that I had to pull off when I took lights down. 3 of 5 stars since I might have been expecting too much from a no residue tape.
