Im using white to run black Klipsch speaker cables-powering a 7.2 Atmos setup-along walls and under doorways. One section is approx 30 ft long and vertically holds the two stiff in-wall rated rear surround cables flush where the walls and baseboards meet. Nobody notices. Ive had it up for one or two months and still no trace of peeling, fading, etc. The tape is still as white as the walls and the material really helps to blend it in. For my use, it has far exceeded my expectations. Hope this helps someone.

Excellent gaffer tape. Just like the black tape gafferpower offers but in a woodland camo.

Im revising my original meh review after using the gaffer tape a few times. The hood on my car would not lock down after checking the oil so I used 2 (two) 6 inch strips of this tape to hold the hood down until I could drive the 20 highway miles to my mechanic, in the rain. And after getting there it peeled off easily and I could have reused it again if I had wanted. The second time was a test. I taped one end of a 2X4 to my workbench using gaffer tape and gorilla brand tape. About 6 feet of the 2X4 extended in to space. After leaving for the night the gaffer taped board was still in place and not even sagging. The gorilla taped board was resting on the ground. Further, the gorilla tape left a glue residue while the gaffer tape peeled off clean. I give it 4 stars because I still think its about twice as expensive as it should be. Good product, does what it says it will do. But there are lots of other tape products out there that are just as good or better, but at half the price. Gaffer tape sounds really cool but the reality is that great tape these days is not that hard to find. For instance, genuine commercial quality duct tape (forget the Duck crap) is easy to find at most big box stores and is half the price but twice the value. This is the stuff that commercial heating guys use to bond metal heating ducts together in the bowels of buildings, lasting for decades. Great technology but commonly available. Do your homework, forget the hype, save some money.

This is so incredibly useful around the house and for projects. Highly recommended. I learned about this from a musician friend. They use it to tape cords up during performances so they are not tripping hazards. The tape removes without leaving residue behind. Great stuff!!

Worth the money. Low reflection, great for hunters. Leaves no residue, and has great adhesion compared to others Ive bought on Amazon. Worth the money. Buy it!

I use this to patch holes in an upholstered bench that my cat loves to scratch. I have this bench as his designated scratching post that he can do whatever he wants with, but problem is he eats the stuffing if he gets in too far. The tape works well, he hasn’t been able to scratch through it or tear it off. This tape is a cheap solution. It doesn’t look pretty for what I’m using it for but it allows my cat to keep using the bench so that I can keep my other furniture nice.

I cannot believe how wonderful this tape is. I taped up a sign on an outside brick wall. It has been rained on so many times and also has been frozen and its still holding strong! Ive used it on 2 metal cabinet doors that refuse to stay closed. The tape holds, pulls up easily to open the cabinets and sticks right back when I close them. They must have been opened 100 times and the tape is still working as if it were the first time. I have used it to tape up boxes, then realized that I left something out of the cardboard box. The tape pulled up easily with only about a 1 inch by 1/4 inch piece of paper pulling up from the box. The tape then resealed the box perfectly. When I went to put the box back in storage, it slipped in my hands and I was holding it upside down with the tape on the bottom. It was about 50 lbs and I thought sure that the tape would fail and everything would spill. It did not. The tape held fast. It has worked great around my windows to help keep out the cold. You know how sometimes you get tape crooked and when you pull it up to straighten it, the tape twists and sticks to itself? This has not happened at all with the GafferPower Gaffer tape. I also had a plastic bag in the freezer that tore. I used the Gaffer tape. About a month later, I removed it from the freezer and pulled it off of the plastic bag without a problem. I stuck it on the side of the fridge until I could throw it away. I forgot about it and 3 days later I noticed it on the fridge. I assumed it would fall right off having been in the freezer for a month. It did not. It was stuck well to the fridge and there was no residue left on my fridge when I removed it!!!!! How I wish I had known about this tape sooner. The clear package tape and the Duct tape are going in the back of the drawer only to be used in emergencies. Cant wait to try some of the other colors! It also does NOT hurt that this is made in the U.S.A. and is affordable!!!! I wish Amazon would sell more made in the USA products.

Ive been trying all summer to find a good sticky bra or a good way to tape my boobs for summer shirts. Kinesiolgy tape is the best, but I break out in massive blisters, so I had to find an alternative and tried this after reading an article about it for this use. I was really disappointed bc it is essentially duck tape with a cotton cover. It doesnt curve around your chest smoothly and it definitely comes unstuck when you sweat. It is softer to the touch than duck tape on the top, but is still really stiff, so you can see the creases under your shirts and definitely doesnt move well with your body at all. No matter how smooth it might have looked before actually getting dressed, it will eventually slide and crease and look awful, then it will pop loose before the end of the day. Now keep in mind, I did test it by wearing it all day in the 100 degree Texas weather. It might be awesome for its intended use recommended by the company, but not for this. I am going back to kinesiolgy tape, but wont clean my skin as well before applying it and wont wear it for days in a row again to avoid the blisters. It curves well and can be worn in the shower, pool, etc! Awe...the pain of beauty.

So if youre like, most people who travel, retrieving your luggage is a pain in the a**. You go to the carousel. And 9 out of 10 bags look exactly like yours. Theres always some hillbilly pushing people out of the way grabbing the wrong suitcase etc. So I decided to buy some gaffers tape because its designed to adhere to a surface with a strong bond yet is easily removed and causes no damage to the surface. I put big purple exes on my suitcase (s) now Im literally the first person out of the baggage claim had. I absolutely know its my luggage. Cheap fix, and about a million uses for this tape... I chose it obnoxiously bright color just so I could see it.

I just received this roll so I havent tested it yet but I wanted to give some initial observations Specs from WebGage Customer Care: Total thickness: 11.5 mils Adhesion to Steel: 50 oz/in Tensile Strength: 42 lb/in Matte-Finish Vinyl Coated Cloth Adhesive Type: rubber Thickness: I have used the JVCC gaffer tape (GAFF30YD/BLK230) which is 12 mil, and this is rated slightly thinner at 11.5mils. Although only a 0.5 mil difference, I think it is noticeable (perhaps different measuring standards?). The 12 mil JVCC feels closer to the thickness of electrical tape, there is a thicker spread of glue (like duct tape), its whiter, and it doesnt stretch. This Gafferpower stretches more and has a lighter spread of glue that is more gray. Sometimes thicker is better for protection, sometimes thinner is better so it wraps and grabs better. Texture: JVCC has a very unique texture that is soft and smooth, like a fine matte velvet, which looks nice and doesnt stretch. The Gafferpower is more like other gaffer tapes - mesh like duct tape and stretches. Tearing by hand: Similar, but I think due to its thickness, the JVCC tears better (sometimes jagged, threads sticking out). Need to use scissors for a nice cut. Tackiness: Similar, but JVCC has more glue. Strength: Havent tested yet. JVCC is strong. Longevity: Havent tested yet. The JVCC can leave residue on some materials over long term (e.g. plastic book covers) and the backing would slide away from the glue if theres movement; on other materials, it can be clean after months. Overall the Gafferpower still seems like good tape. EDIT: WebGage Customer Care responded to my questions about the thickness and provided specs, and after double checking, I updated my comments, giving it 5 stars. Thumbs up to WebGage!
