> 3 dayThe best thing Ive ever ordered off of Amazon. Coming here to repurchase in the same color, hot pink. Ive tried other brands of gaff tape but this is my favorite. I use this for all sorts of stuff, its super handy, and the bright color ensures I never misplace it.

Greater than one weekI use this to patch holes in an upholstered bench that my cat loves to scratch. I have this bench as his designated scratching post that he can do whatever he wants with, but problem is he eats the stuffing if he gets in too far. The tape works well, he hasn’t been able to scratch through it or tear it off. This tape is a cheap solution. It doesn’t look pretty for what I’m using it for but it allows my cat to keep using the bench so that I can keep my other furniture nice.

> 3 dayI bought this to use on tour. I labeled all of my cases with it. The blue color helps my cases to stand out backstage at a festival so one of my cases isn’t accidentally picked up by the crew of another act. I also used this to tape down set lists and other stuff. As far as I can tell, it works as gaffers tape should.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised! Great quality and adhesion. I would say this particular brand has worked better than other Gaff tape brands I’ve used. Will buy again once I need to replenish.

> 3 dayIm revising my original meh review after using the gaffer tape a few times. The hood on my car would not lock down after checking the oil so I used 2 (two) 6 inch strips of this tape to hold the hood down until I could drive the 20 highway miles to my mechanic, in the rain. And after getting there it peeled off easily and I could have reused it again if I had wanted. The second time was a test. I taped one end of a 2X4 to my workbench using gaffer tape and gorilla brand tape. About 6 feet of the 2X4 extended in to space. After leaving for the night the gaffer taped board was still in place and not even sagging. The gorilla taped board was resting on the ground. Further, the gorilla tape left a glue residue while the gaffer tape peeled off clean. I give it 4 stars because I still think its about twice as expensive as it should be. Good product, does what it says it will do. But there are lots of other tape products out there that are just as good or better, but at half the price. Gaffer tape sounds really cool but the reality is that great tape these days is not that hard to find. For instance, genuine commercial quality duct tape (forget the Duck crap) is easy to find at most big box stores and is half the price but twice the value. This is the stuff that commercial heating guys use to bond metal heating ducts together in the bowels of buildings, lasting for decades. Great technology but commonly available. Do your homework, forget the hype, save some money.

> 3 dayThe tape adheres well. Surprisingly, it peels off without leaving residue or damaging the finish in my RV. Add to that, I can apply the tape, peel it off safely, and then reapply the same tape! Heres an example: I use the tape to keep the electric cord for my Firestick against a cabinet wall. Sometimes, I have to unplug the Firestick, wait 5 to 10 minutes, plug it back in, and re-secure the cord.. I use the same piece of gaffer tape.

> 3 dayListen — if you are buying gaffer tape on amazon, my understanding is that it isn’t the pro-grade stuff. Pros use gaffer tape to secure extremely expensive equipment, cables, etc, and can afford to pay a premium price for a product that can be tax deducted as a business expense. For me, I just wanted something that was highly-adhesive, tearable by hand, and removable without leaving significant residue — and this has been great. I used it to build a light-box for photography, and it has secured all of the LED panel lights, filters, magnets, and paper linings without adding reflections or glare, and it has been extremely secure. I haven’t tested it outdoors or in wet environments, but that’s not really what it is intended for. Basically, if you are looking for awesome consumer grade gaffer tape to add to your adhesive armamentarium, this is a pretty good choice. I’ll definitely be getting it again, and probably in black from the same manufacturer.

Greater than one weekI work in IT. We run wires everywhere, be it extension cords or networking bundles. I have come to love gaffers tape as the soft super-viable alternative to the all-purpose duct tape when it comes to those types of jobs. At first, I bought whichever was cheapest, and slowly my lovely bundles of cords were becoming ugly with residue. After one particularly bad cheap roll which left one of the cords a different color a team member couldn’t take it anymore and spoke up. I was sufficiently schooled in the “right types” of gaffers tape, but I didn’t believe so I told them to put Some skin in the game. So they were going to buy this roll if I thought it was the same. Well, I’m pleased to say I paid for this roll. Just picking it up I could tell that this was softer and more pliable. It ripped easier. It stuck fast to carpet and came up easily with residue once pulled. It didn’t fold when unrolling and frustrate my crew by bonding to itself. I was able to cut into very thin strips and use as a temporary zip tie! Best of all, I found out that you can use this tape to REMOVE the residue that the bad tape left on my cords (also part of my schooling). Team member was in theater and brother still is. This tape is what they use to hold together their sets, and now I use it to hold together mine. Sometimes quality difference is great enough that you have to point out the actual price difference. Not that much extra in cost for at least a 200% better product. Buy this tape.

> 3 dayI used this graffen tape to make a custom insert for my copy of the board game Wingspan using cardboard. I saw it recommended online and decided to try it out. I never used graffen tape, but I liked that it was easy to use and mold. It was stickier than I was expecting, but it comes off nicely off from the table and the non-adhesive side of the graffen tape, allowing me to reposition pieces. It did NOT come off nicely off the cardboard itself and a few times I ripped off layers of the cardboard. If the adhesives side meets another adhesive side...all is lost. I also used it for covering a cut on the card table I use and it is satisfying to know there isnt going to be gunk left over from the duct tape. I liked the way it felt and it worked well for my purposes. I did consider the Amazon brand but chose this one instead and Im satisfied with the results.
