Greater than one weekThis tape works well for my purposes. When doing events, I use this to secure various items to the floor (e.g. step and repeat rug) and wall (e.g. banner). I want a tape that is strong but doesnt leave any residue, and so far so good.

17-11-2024The camo color is very nice but not as sticky as other brands. Not impressed considering the price. American made though so that is a big plus!

> 3 dayThis is gaffers tape. Typically used for taping electrical cords to the floor so people dont trip. Also for movie or play “sets” for wrapping and hiding cords, covering or blacking out something. It is meant to be removable and not leave a sticky residue. I read some reviews in which people complained about it not being sticky enough or that they couldnt make a bra out of it?? Whatever that is about? Its not meant to be that sticky. Its sturdy, somewhat like duct tape tape but doesnt leave sticky adhesive on surface when removed. This is a good quality tape and works well for it’s intended purpose.

> 3 dayGaffer Tape is mainly used by professionals in the arts and entertainment industry to secure cables and wires to podiums, stages and more. The non reflective surface allows it to blend in with its surroundings instead of standing out and drawing attention to itself. It is very flexible, allowing it to have multiple uses, and it peels off easily without leaving any residue behind or causing any damage to the surface you apply it to. One of the things I like best about Gaffer tape is that you dont need anything to cut it. You simply tear it in strips or however you need it with your hands. I always have the worst time trying to hold tape, scissors and whatever I am working on, while trying to cut off each piece that I need. It is so much more simple to just tear off a strip as I go along, without having to deal with extra tools and steps. I used this to bind cords together to keep them from being a crazy mess behind my computer. I used it to secure the wires for our Halloween decoration so the kids wouldnt trip on them. It works well and it didnt cause any damage to them. I also used it to seal a box that was being shipped to make sure it didnt open before it was supposed to. My daughter used it to build a fort for her to play in and we even used it to tape up a costume that was too long so it didnt drag on the ground. It worked great on all the materials we tried it with and held strong each time. I imagine we will find many more uses for it over time too!

> 3 daySo, some popular... fashionista has said that this is the strongest tape there is... Its not... It doesnt even work for me as boob tape like she suggested. Gaffer tape just doesnt have the hold I need for that. However, since it is gaffer tape, if you use it for what its intended for this stuff is great. I got a white roll to tape some speakers onto my wall because I live in an apartment and Im not allowed to put nails in the wall (the speakers have bits for hanging with nails). The walls are white, the tape is white, and when it comes time to move, being gaffer tape, it wont leave any adhesive residue behind. And thats what makes gaffer tape so great. Its about as strong as standard duct tape, but doesnt hold up under moisture quite as well. It certainly doesnt have the hold of Gorilla Tape or T-Rex Tape, but those, like all duct tapes, leave adhesive residue behind. If you care about not having to get adhesive off of surfaces that might be damaged by attempts to remove left over adhesive, and or that might be damaged by removing the tape if the adhesive is too aggressive, then gaffer tape is the right stuff to get.

> 3 dayI picked this up to help me mark and find things in the dark. I discovered a long time ago that remote controls, key fobs, all sorts of plastic objects love to disappear in my messy house. Im planning to add more colors of tape to sort-of color code things to find even in low light. Add a UV lamp or flashlight for best effects.

> 3 dayI use this to patch holes in an upholstered bench that my cat loves to scratch. I have this bench as his designated scratching post that he can do whatever he wants with, but problem is he eats the stuffing if he gets in too far. The tape works well, he hasn’t been able to scratch through it or tear it off. This tape is a cheap solution. It doesn’t look pretty for what I’m using it for but it allows my cat to keep using the bench so that I can keep my other furniture nice.

> 3 dayI got this to cover a place on my couch that the cats had clawed. Unfortunately it wouldnt stick to the nappy material. But the color was perfect. We attached it with clear twist pins. Not perfect but lots better than it was.
