It does contain a lot of woodchips and looks high quality. Used some of it for about a week when I went to pull out my snake and she had a few wood mites on her, Ive never had this problem as I make sure to clean her enclosure often and theres no way these were regular mites. They were clear as day wood mites, my guess from this product itself. If you plan on buying this for your animal know whats risks you’re taking.

Product was broken down and dusty.. go with something else.

This is nothing like forest floor bedding this stuff is dray and splintery... and there is much less in the package than I expected.

I have both Russian and red footed tortoises and both love this substrate in their pens. They dig in it and push it around to be just right. I like it because it’s easy to keep clean.

Same stuff you get in pet stores. Only different is The price.

Works great for my snakes!

Would work for a 25 gal tank. Instructions are not very clear a off how many square inches would this bag size cover
