Way smaller than advertised

Mostly soil more so thank mulch. Did the job but wasnt what I was expecting.

I bought this for my tortoise, its a mess! His water bowl has just been mud for the past three days. It smells like dirt. Ill be going back to Zoo Med forest floor.

I have both Russian and red footed tortoises and both love this substrate in their pens. They dig in it and push it around to be just right. I like it because it’s easy to keep clean.

Too much dust in the mixture.

Not at all what its advertised. I bought it for my ball python thinking I was getting mulch but I got dirt. Looks more like eco earth than mulch.

I dont own a reptile. But I did buy a dormant bare root rose plant from the US branch of a breeder in England. I live in a hot climate so mulch is used to help keep the roots from getting too hot. I didnt want to spend money on a giant bag from a garden center when I only needed a small amount. This bag was perfect to add an inch or two thick layer on top of the soil in my 20x17 container. If its great for my rose, it must be great for reptiles too.
