Lousy quality, when I put the bedding into my tank, great gobs of plastic came out as well!

I got this to use as bedding in a snake tank. The package was not sealed when it arrived- there was cypress shake in the shipping box. I’m very wary of introducing mites, molds, and other contaminants, but this is the first time I’ve ever washed the substrate before using it. It was not worth the trouble and I’m not doing it again. I’m going back to the bark we used before.
