I searched for reptile safe moss for a tank - and this moss seemed adequate. Put in a snake tank and it had mold within 1-2 weeks. I used it to replace moss from the woods, had never had mold problems. I replaced it with moss from another source, no mold.

17 year old son indicated he preferred Galapagos moss over bagged loose moss. Easier installation and clean-up. Recommend for Crested Geckos.

Moss comes in a resealable package so if you dont want to use it all it can be stored, super green makes the tank way more vibrant !!! My lizard loves it. Its perfect for her enclosure. She usually hides under her log, but shes been out and about exploring since we got this!!!

Initially we loved this sheet moss for our blue tongue skink. It’s super thick and he couldn’t shred it and push it all over his tank like he does with the loose sphagnum moss. Unfortunately a few weeks after we put this in with fresh soil we started noticing fruit flies in our house. Just realized this week that they are coming from his tank and the only new thing in his set up is this sheet moss. We immediately disposed of the sheet moss and soil in his tank and went back to the soil with sphagnum moss.

Great Moss. Nice large pieces. Will buy again.
