Galápagos (05248) Sheets of Real Moss, 8-Quart, Natural

Pieces of moss in a bag. I was concerned that the product wouldnt be fresh. I was amazed when I received it and put it in the cage.

I searched for reptile safe moss for a tank - and this moss seemed adequate. Put in a snake tank and it had mold within 1-2 weeks. I used it to replace moss from the woods, had never had mold problems. I replaced it with moss from another source, no mold.

Definately the best price/ bang for your buck. Great coverage with a natural look. Just getting it set up in a Vivarium. We will see if this can be brought back to a growing moss. Hesistant to beleive it will from previous experiences...

Initially we loved this sheet moss for our blue tongue skink. It’s super thick and he couldn’t shred it and push it all over his tank like he does with the loose sphagnum moss. Unfortunately a few weeks after we put this in with fresh soil we started noticing fruit flies in our house. Just realized this week that they are coming from his tank and the only new thing in his set up is this sheet moss. We immediately disposed of the sheet moss and soil in his tank and went back to the soil with sphagnum moss.

Great looking and good quantity and quality

This moss is really fantastic. It stays moist a long time, about two weeks. Were using this bag in a 20 gallon tank and theres plenty. Its a bright green and is very soft. Our daughters fat tail gecko is very happy!

Perfect for leopard geckos! Great to for keeping moisture in the terrarium to promote full sheds. Worth the money. :)

Was looking for moss for garden projects, but the craft store was the same amount of money for less than half what came in this. This was in decent size sheets/pieces, thick, and was just enough for my turtle project. Would definitly buy again for future garden/craft projects!

Its lovely moss and long lasting in my day gecko tank.

Got this to put in the moist hides for my leopard geckos. I like the sheets much better than the loose peat moss I was using. I have plenty left over for future use.
