This molded in more than one of my cages. Would not recommend.

Would grow a little, then die. Has to be replaced frequently.

Very green! There is a ton in the bag. I made several miniature fairy gardens and have so much left over I’ve been stuffing it in all my plants. Great purchase!!

Great for aquarium use with geckos

I searched for reptile safe moss for a tank - and this moss seemed adequate. Put in a snake tank and it had mold within 1-2 weeks. I used it to replace moss from the woods, had never had mold problems. I replaced it with moss from another source, no mold.

Got this moss for our Russian tortoise and he loves it. I mist it and put it in his hide. He took to it right away. Sometimes he lays on top of it and other times, underneath it. He sure looks content.

not sure why this is sold just as a pet product. this is a much cheaper option for lining potted plants than ive found at big hardware stores.

This moss is really fantastic. It stays moist a long time, about two weeks. Were using this bag in a 20 gallon tank and theres plenty. Its a bright green and is very soft. Our daughters fat tail gecko is very happy!
