Galápagos (05248) Sheets of Real Moss, 8-Quart, Natural

I loved this stuff at first but unfortunately I can’t have it in my boas enclosure without it molding horribly within a couple days. I keep following the exact instructions on the bag but nothing’s working. I really wish I could say something good because this did seem like quality moss. Unfortunately I’ve only been able to get a little over a weeks worth of using it due to having to completely replace it over and over hoping it would work. I’m very disappointed.

I got this to use in a basket to hold the soil so I can plant in it.. Works every time.

The moss actually started sprouting! We love it. I guess these are just the right conditions.

Works well for adding moisture to my ball pythons enclosure. Doesnt smell like much and easy to hydrate.

I love it. Absolutely natural. Do not loose color. Of course it smells because it is real. But smell disappear in few hours after you remove it from plastic package. I use it for my orchids to keep moist. I totally recommend this company.

I purchased 2 bags. The first bag was beautiful and it worked out really well. There were 4 individual sheets that were very nice and in tact. I give a lower review because the second bag was dry and rather brittle and the sheets were not nearly as clean as the first bag I purchased. I will likely purchase one more bag with the hope that it will work out as well as the first one. If it doesn’t look as good I will just send it back for a refund.

Got this moss for our Russian tortoise and he loves it. I mist it and put it in his hide. He took to it right away. Sometimes he lays on top of it and other times, underneath it. He sure looks content.

It smells a little fishy but once you soak and rinse it smells pretty earthy. My snails home is... ummm... nicely manicured these days. :)
