Gamehide Mens Upland Vest

Nice quality

My husband purchased this for me so that I could have a nice hunting vest for when we go squirrel hunting. Prior to this vest all I had was a simple orange mesh one held together with Velcro with no pockets. I must say, this vest is awesome! It zips up the front and the zipper seems really sturdy. He purchased this in a medium to make sure it would fit over my winter coat or a thick pull over and it will do just that. Its also not too bulky for the early part of the squirrel season when its still warm enough to go without a jacket. The orange and brown complement each other well and it has really nice large pockets for carrying ammo, a knife, or whatever else. The game pocket in the back is great. I think he may be jealous of my vest now!

Great fit and was perfect for hunting

I was looking for a new basic upland vest not with a bunch of features such as shell holders or D rings. Many persons find that something Basic usually means cheaply made. This vest is an exception from my perspective the material both the main canvas and blaze accents are well designed and functional, since I prefer to carry my shells the font pockets this was well suited the game pouch and access also suits me fine. The price is in my opinion exceptional all in all for my activities from Hunter Education to shotgun sports this fits the bill.

Good visibility, easy pouch access and tough material

This is the most ridiculously over sized piece of apparel Ive ever purchased. Im 65 and 230 lb and the XL vest was baggy over the heaviest coat I own, let alone normal upland hunting clothing. On top of that it has zero shell loops. Returning ASAP, fortunately Amazon is great with returns.

Well made vest. The lack of Shell holders is easily rectified by sewing elastic bands inside the pockets but the vest does not really need them.

I bought 2 mediums for my 14 year old twins and they are way to big.. my kids are 53 120 lbs. This thing fit me and I normally wear an XL, im 205lb 510. This sizing is ridiculous. First off, who sells an item expecting it to go over a ski parka? I guess if Im hunting dove in the alps ill do just fine. The 2 pockets fit a lot of shells. However, put a few more pockets to hold say perhaps a beer or water. My God man. All that being said, if you get the sizing right and are a minimalist who hates tasty beverages on your hunt, then this vest is for you.

A little more orange would be nice, but fits well and does the job.
