Gamehide Mens Upland Vest

Doesnt have shell holders, only pockets

My husband purchased this for me so that I could have a nice hunting vest for when we go squirrel hunting. Prior to this vest all I had was a simple orange mesh one held together with Velcro with no pockets. I must say, this vest is awesome! It zips up the front and the zipper seems really sturdy. He purchased this in a medium to make sure it would fit over my winter coat or a thick pull over and it will do just that. Its also not too bulky for the early part of the squirrel season when its still warm enough to go without a jacket. The orange and brown complement each other well and it has really nice large pockets for carrying ammo, a knife, or whatever else. The game pocket in the back is great. I think he may be jealous of my vest now!

This is the most ridiculously over sized piece of apparel Ive ever purchased. Im 65 and 230 lb and the XL vest was baggy over the heaviest coat I own, let alone normal upland hunting clothing. On top of that it has zero shell loops. Returning ASAP, fortunately Amazon is great with returns.

This vest is really nice. I was skeptical at first. It does run large which it states in the description. I where 2x in everything and figure if it was a little bigger for a coat that would be fine. I think I could have ordered a 1X and still been able to fit a coat under it. It feels very well built and I love the fact I can put game in the pouch without help or turning my arm into a pretzel. Pockets are deep for shells. Would and probable will by again.

So Hefty .A MUST for small game hunting. The pouches all around are so useful. During my grouse hunting trip none of my fellow hunters had space to put their game except for me and that was worth every penny. I would recommend ordering the same size you usually order your other outfits. I ordered a XL (usually wears M-L) because of all the layers but it was clearly too big.

Commander votre taille, pas plus... à moins de vouloir la porter par dessus un gros manteau dhiver. Jai commandé large et cest ce que je porte. La poche de dos (gibecière) pourrait être détachable... Faciliterait le lavage... Il pourrait y avoir plus de compartiment...petites poches...endroit pour ranger les cartouches... Mais bon pour le pris cest ok.

Returned, bought the size I normally wear. Fit ok over fannel shirt, but was tight over a light jacket. Would not fit over heavy jacket. Very nicely made vest though.
