I really like this tester. I have many outlets mounted upside down and this tester allows you to read the results on BOTH sides unlike some others on the market. Recommend!

Easy to read and understand even for a novice with basic wiring knowledge. Works as well as similar testers that cost much more.

The unit itself is easy to use once you figure out how to read the indicator lights on it. Its VERY difficult to distinguish the yellow from the white colored dots on the unit. The instruction sheet inside the package is equally difficult to distinguish the gray from the white colored dots.

This outlet tester works great. Not only does it test regular outlets it also test GFI outlets. We purchased a house and I figured why not tested each outlet. I found one of the outlets had no ground so I took it apart to take a look and found that the original owner of the house added that outlet and used no code wire that does not have a ground. So I had to fix it. Thankfully this tool found it for me.

It is easy to use with good price. A quick way to make sure your GFCI plugs are still functioning.

Orange and white circles, at the very small font it is shown in, is nearly impossible to discern from each other except in perfect lighting. Almost makes this unusable.
