Greater than one weekLove the size, the color (red), ease of use. Easily test any power socket. Talk about plug and play... lol This tester cost so little and provides so much confidence knowing that my home is wired correctly, and that GFCI outlets trip correctly. Quality is top notch as well. Would buy again. Very happy with this tester. Add on item for shipping - still arrived fast - 2 days.

> 3 dayThis is good for a quick basic check of your outlets. Lights are easy to see and the reference guide to the meanings of the lights is right on the device. It was able to accurately detect an issue I had with some old wiring. Depending on your issue you may still need a multimeter and/or a licensed electrician.

Greater than one weekI was playing my electric guitar in my basement a couple months ago when I felt a mild tingle in my hands. After reading up and considering getting my amplifier repaired, I decided to spend a few bucks on a tester first. I found out that despite having three prongs, none of the outlets in the basement are grounded. If I knew that before I bought the house, I would have made the seller fix it. This tester works great, is easy to read, and is very inexpensive.

> 3 dayThis outlet tester works great. Not only does it test regular outlets it also test GFI outlets. We purchased a house and I figured why not tested each outlet. I found one of the outlets had no ground so I took it apart to take a look and found that the original owner of the house added that outlet and used no code wire that does not have a ground. So I had to fix it. Thankfully this tool found it for me.

21-11-2024I have literal owned over a dozen of these. They work great, are easy to read, and most importantly are the easiest I found that insert into the TR (tamper resistant) outlets. I am a home inspector so I use this on a daily basis, so over 100 times a day 5 days a week for work. They last anywhere between 2-6 months at most. They are cheap enough but carry several in my bag since I never know when it will fail. So good for the homeowner but not so good for professional daily use.

22-11-2024Great product for the price. Allowed me to test my new home and noticed that there were a few outlets not working. Got them fixed by the builder and wouldnt have noticed it without this product. This has the GFCI tester as well and that too worked as expected. Easy to read and easy to use and what one would expect from such a product.
