Garmin 010-01746-00 Forerunner 935 Running GPS Unit (Black)

Ive had a Garmin 920 for the last 7-8 years. Maybe the bar was raised too high. I had to replace that watch because for some reason, Garmin cant replace a battery. As a result I was FORCED to purchase a new watch. I was offered to purchase one directly from Garmin, which is 20-35% higher than many other vendors. Regardless. I purchased the 935. The watched arrived looking great. But then I tried to put it on and only if I had been an emaciated adolescent would the band have actually fit. I am not a larger person at all, but I am only the 4th from the last spot on the band. Second, it screen is so dim, it is nearly impossible to read. I spent almost 4 hours downloading different watch faces trying to find something more useful but literally there was nothing. So Great! I have a watch I cant read at all, but it syncs to the phone, right? Regardless, I wore it for the first 48 hours. How is it, I have a resting heart rate of 115 according to the watch, which alarmed me so much, I went and had everything checked at a friends client. The BP as off more than 30 points resting and 42 points while on thread mill. A damn fitbit which I consider subpar equipment was twice as accurate. Ive always been a big far of Garmin and I have 7 different Garmin devices between watch, bike and boat. But this is a $400 piece of junk!

This is a 6-month review, I didnt wanted to write immediately as I wanted to check out the product for few months. I bought few quick fit bands and keep changing them frequently. I wear this watch during shower and no issue at all.

This watch is a least 10xs better than my Apple Watch, which I sold as soon as I got the Garman.

Useless, HR is off by over 40-70 and the pace when finished with a run is off by 1 min each mile. i knew it would be a little off but wow. i am better off without a watch and just using my phone. i really wanted to like this watch. wish i could return it.

Love my watch but here is what I do not like:

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She hasnt taken it off since then. It does everything she needs for running and can do extras like receive your texts and phone notifications through blue tooth. It wears well for every day use not just for running. She has used it during marathons and for her training for marathons. This model is a bit bigger than the Fenix model but my wife preferred the look of this one.
