Garmin 010-01746-00 Forerunner 935 Running GPS Unit (Black)

nice buy. not what I expected but does the job.

Ordered this from Amazon as the price was about 10% cheaper than what I could find elsewhere. Product showed up in an undamaged amazon box (pictured below on right). On removing the watch from the amazon box it appeared to have been crushed (see first 3 pictures). The factory seals on the box had obviously been broken and retaped. this means it was not a new a watch but a return/refurb. Anyway i was expecting a new watch and the ad did not say refurbished i believe this is a misrepresentation. I am returning this one and have ordered another. If it shows up new in box I will update the rating on this ad to reflect that a mistake may have been made by the seller. Otherwise i would stay away, and if you want a new watch go elsewhere. I will follow up. Thanks

First of all, let me state that I really wanted to like this product. It has a bazillion features, looks cool etc.

Muy funcional y buen precio.

Lasts for over 2 weeks on a charge, with about 12 40-minute runs over that time. I like the non-cradle charger. I do not connect via Bluetooth or use the HR feature much except during runs. It automatically uploads the run to Garmin over WiFi when I get home and then I use the Garmin Connect app to view the run. I like the configurable watch face so I can get the time in large numbers without a lot of icons on the screen (but you can add many icons if you wish). I like the feature to automatically turn on the light during an activity when you raise your arm, so no need to press a button to light it.

Happy with it

First I bought the Apple Watch. It has twice the features but none work seamlessly like they’re supposed to and the battery life is terrible. I was so frustrated that I spent another $500 on the Garmin and I love it. It works beyond what it promised because the watch is great and the app is even better. Bonus that it’s sleek enough that I wear it to work now instead of my designer watch.

This is a review for the seller, not the watch (which is fantastic). I purchased a Garmin 935 from Go Ahead! The device arrived in perfect working condition, but I later found out that it was the APAC (Asia Pacific) version, not the ROW (Rest of World) version that is normally sold in North America. There arent a lot of substantive differences, but Ive been having trouble syncing to my phone and Garmin suggested updating the firmware. Unfortunately APAC devices lag behind in firmware updates and it will be anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months before I can update to the most recent firmware. I contacted the seller and they refused to exchange it or provide a refund even though the watch was originally advertised as ROW. My fault for not checking as soon as a got it—overall a great watch but a dishonest seller.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend who loves running, walking and cycling. He loves all of the features/functions of this watch. He previously had a forerunner 35 and this is an amazing upgrade. It also looks a lot better!
