The 1030 and 1030+ is way to much for most riders. Therere less complicated units out there for most riders need. That being said, Garmin came a long way with 1030+! This is the best Garmin I ever owned and I own four of them. Installation with all my bikes Sram eTap and sensors, software upgrade and pairing with my iPhone was just so easy!

Love it tell it how mine miles I want to go. Tell it N ,S , E or W and looks up maps in neighborhood and of I go no more getting lost

Received in timely fashion. Setup was relatively easy and it connected to my accessories easily with the exception of my pedal cadence monitor- need to figure that out...Some of this had to be done outside for satellite connectivity. This is my first garmin device- loved the dedicated computer (as opposed to using my phone on rides).

The overview of the Garmin user interface is a bit arcane. I eventually got to where I was very happy with the Edge 700 but it took a while. This is clearly going to take a while too. I would have designed it differently from the beginning.

This has become a staple in my cycling. I am amazed with how well this device functions and integrates with my etap shifting, varia radar, iPhone, speed and cadence sensors, etc.

Lots of information still trying to figure most of many options/choices incredible piece!

I bought 2 units (husband/wife). We both love our units. Easy to operate, easy to see, easy to track our data!

Battery life is the best

The ONE JOB it had, sync routes from Strava. After fighting with it to sync with my computer; fighting with it and Garmin Express to update the firmware; it STILL doesnt do the job. This is my third Garmin computer. Garmin Express has always sucked, still does. Garmin Connect has always sucked, still does. Thats why its connected to Strava becasue no one wants to use Garmins crappy apps. But the devices WERE great until just now. I am returning this piece of trash and switching to Wahoo.
