Buy it already. This is the best of my bike investments this season. I paired this with a garmin radar and I am in bike heaven. I also bought the garmin light the pedals are a bit much. I highly recommend the garmin 1030. Dependable and nice data collector.

Excellent cycling computer. This one measures everything a serious cyclist wants to record and examine. Thats how we improve. The one issue I have with it is in its measurement on inclines by percentage. It is very slow and keeps the rider to have immediate information about climbs.

The sensors on this have greatly improved the quality of my bicycle rides. This device combined with nutritional changes and a good bicycle fit from a physical therapist have enabled me to do all day bicycle rides up and down steep mountain roads without injuring myself. The cadence reading in particular is very helpful because the cadence enables me to know when to change gears. Also I can see my heart rate getting lower during the same intensity rides week after week, which tells me that my heart is getting stronger. Riding without this would be like riding blind. Be aware though that the reseller modified the default settings. At one point I had to do a factory reset and the display and setup was all different. The resellers settings are a reasonable place to start. Changing the settings could be complex, and there are a lot of fine grained variables you could tweak if you really wanted to be scientific about it. The resulting data changes a lot depending on how you have things configured, so you could create a mess if you tried to change the resellers configuration and if you were not prepared to really get into the science of how you want this configured.

Got a new 1030 Plus and 11 hours later still trying to install maps. Garmin Support suggested uninstall/reinstall Garmin Connect. That was a waste of time. Had to readd devices which then prompted me to update maps. What a joke. Dont buy this garbage. I should have bought a Wahoo after previous miserable Garmin support. Garmin suuuuuucks!!!!

Love the size, battery, connectivity to Di2. Disappointed with maps. Have to reach out to my phone occasionally. Maybe Garmin should allow mirroring iphone?

Great bike computer bundle, does everything as advertized.

The heart rate strap never gives consistent or accurate readings. The basic in ride readings on the device are nice. Haven’t really used the map features as I usually know where am going.
