GE Lighting CYNC Indoor Smart Plug, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Smart Outlet Socket, Works with Alexa and Google Home, Voice Control Outlet

Cool little gadget! I could figure out why my C by GE lights were not working. I bought this and now they work! It has a built In home hub, so you don’t have to buy a separate one! Plus I can turn off my living room lights with a touch of a button or by telling Alexa!

I used the GE CYNC Indoor Smart Plug for about two months now. The installment and app connection process were easy, and after that I have not cared about plugging in and out. I am using it for my radiator, which is scheduled for the night 11pm-6am. Loves how it turns on and off by itself, so that I dont have to care about it.

After returning cheaper plugs that we couldnt connect, we opted for this one (we already have a Cync dimmer). Once we could get it to go into discover mode (had to call support cause u have to hold the button for 15 secs which isnt stated anywhere in the instructions), it worked great and easily paired with Alexa and Google.

In the evening, we go around and shut off all our lights individually. We created 2 areas in our LR. One for accent lights and one for general reading. Flip of the switch on the software we can turn the on and off. At night, when we go to bed….we just hit the button on the software and leave the room. We purchased the ones we control on our phone because we travel. Now we can turn off and on lights at our discrection

The app was useless for setting schedules. It would not turn on at the scheduled time. But it did turn off at the scheduled time if I turned it on myself. However because Im able to link it to Google assistant I was able to set routines and schedules via the Google Home app instead, and I have it working as I want. I bought this product for two other people and set it up for them. The scheduling using the app only worked for one person, but not for myself and the other one.

I was searching for smart plugs to integrate with my Alexa and none of them wanted to work with the wifi I use and this connected right away all I had to do was plug it up and my Alexa picked it up and connected. Great product love it

Super easy to install. Download the GE Cync app and it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Great for when it gets dark early during the winter months so you don’t have to come home to a dark house. Previously bought a cheaper version while I was on the checkout line at TJ Maxx and it was a waste of $5. The device constantly would disconnect so I’d have to unplug it for a few minutes. The GE Cync does not have that problem, thankfully.

I use this with my Alexa app. Great!

Easy setup and Alexa integration. App works well and is easy to set routines. Will buy more when the price is right.

I’ve tried a few. Cync is by far the best. Just upgraded my house from Wemo. Alexa integration is automatic and set up on Cync is a breeze. I strongly recommend!
