> 3 dayThe app was useless for setting schedules. It would not turn on at the scheduled time. But it did turn off at the scheduled time if I turned it on myself. However because Im able to link it to Google assistant I was able to set routines and schedules via the Google Home app instead, and I have it working as I want. I bought this product for two other people and set it up for them. The scheduling using the app only worked for one person, but not for myself and the other one.

> 3 dayI read all the bad reviews but figured it’s GE, they should be ok. Nope. Have three of these things for about 5 months now. If the plugs are supposed to be on and the power goes out for a second, when the power comes back on, the switches stay off. So if you have, let’s say, an aquarium that needs the pump to be on and the power goes off for a split second, the pump will remain off until you go in the app and turn it back on, or the next day when it’s supposed to turn on again. One of the switches just died after a power outage. I don’t recommend these at all. They’re supposed to save you not ruin you. These smart switches are not so smart after all.

> 3 daySimple to operate,.. just plug in and tell Google to turn it on,... Cync was UNBELIEVEABLE helpful! I am NOT the most tech savvy person, I called Cync,.. they walked me thru the process,.. no problem!!!!

> 3 dayThese work without installing another app on my phone, Alexa can discover and setup the plug automatically, and after setup, they can be controlled the moment you plug them in. Everything by GE Cync works exceptionally well, they are more reliable than the Amazon brand plugs I own! I highly recommend GE Cync products for you Alexa device.

> 3 dayPros: Works great in my smart home of 30+ wifi enabled devices. It is easily controlled via the Cync app or by Alexa. Con: My only advice for the manufacturer... please include an integrated status light for the on/off button! I put a little round sticker on the on/off button to make it easier to see. Otherwise, it really blends in with the rest of the device.

> 3 dayIt seems like most smart plugs require you to change your wifi frequency to operate which can be a real pain, particularly if you have a mesh network. For this device, I simply plugged it in and it was immediately discoverable via Alexa. Maybe a bit more expensive then other alternatives but the ease of installation makes it worthwhile.

> 3 dayI don’t know if it’s me, because every time I use it to control the light on my phone it creates a “click” sound. Originally, I bought it because my friend has similar stuff at home, i thought it’s convenient. I didn’t hear a click at his house at that time. I really don’t like the sound.
