> 3 dayStruggled to find a wireless router that works with ATT now that theyve gone to 5G in my area. I went to the online ATT store and purchased the smart plug they recommended for 5G, this one. I installed it to make sure it works with my system without having to reset my router then found this on Amazon for $2 cheaper each and purchased more for my other outlets.

> 3 dayWhen I upgraded my network hardware, I realized my smart plugs were no longer compatible. After weighing the cost of replacing my hardware with a dual-channel setup against new plugs, I decided to give the Cync smart plugs a try. These were very easy to install and Alexa has no problem talking to these. My home was back to normal in about fifteen minutes.

> 3 dayI was searching for smart plugs to integrate with my Alexa and none of them wanted to work with the wifi I use and this connected right away all I had to do was plug it up and my Alexa picked it up and connected. Great product love it

> 3 dayI bought some C by GE lightbulbs but had problems with my Alexa running them. After I bought the plug and plugged one of my lamps into it everything works fine like it’s supposed to. I highly suggest if you were wanting to use Alexa

> 3 dayThis is one of the only 5g smart plugs I could find, and I am pleased to say that it works! It sometimes has some trouble with Alexa, but 90% of the time it works great. Even if it is having problems with Alexa, it always works through the app.

> 3 dayOnce set up, the plug works very well. However, it is a bit glitchy to install on Google Home. Unlike whats advertised, you are wise to first install it on the GE Cync app, then port it over to Google Home. Installing directly from Google Home results in glitches AND error messages. Worth it overall once its up and running and I plan to buy many more!

> 3 daySuper easy to install. Download the GE Cync app and it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Great for when it gets dark early during the winter months so you don’t have to come home to a dark house. Previously bought a cheaper version while I was on the checkout line at TJ Maxx and it was a waste of $5. The device constantly would disconnect so I’d have to unplug it for a few minutes. The GE Cync does not have that problem, thankfully.

03-06-2025This device does not require an additional hub to interface with your home wifi. The Cync app is easy to setup and the device seems to have good WiFi range. Should you move your device to another outlet, the app recognizes the plug once it is plugged in again.

> 3 dayThese work well with the Cync app, easy to set up, but do not work with Alexa well. Mine work about half the time with Alexa. Returning them.
