> 3 dayI needed a smart plug that would work when there was no Internet. I needed a plug that would allow me to power-cycle some Internet gear (such as a modem or a switch) located in a crawlspace. Very likely, the reason I would need to power-cycle some Internet gear would be because that very gear was not working, i.e., no WiFi and no way to control your typical WiFi-only smart plug. Doh. So, this Cync plug automatically switches over to Bluetooth when there is no Internet connection. You dont have to do anything. I can easily switch the plug off and on via Bluetooth using the Cync app on my phone.

> 3 dayCurrently I have three of these running to shut off some strip outlets full of those not needed while gone electronics. Works great to shut down the whole set of adapters and power use both as needed with the button on the plug, using my phone, Alexa or on a programmed schedule. Definitely handy in lowering my electric usage.

Greater than one weekI have two lamps in my living room that are not on a switch and wanted an easy way to easily turn them on and off without needing to walk from one end of the room to the other. I purchased these outlets and absolutely love the functionality! I linked them to mg Alexa app on my phone and was able to create a routine (they turn on 30 min before sundown and turn off when I tell Alexa that is time for bed). They work PERFECTLY. Would definitely recommend!!

> 3 dayNo stress setting it up. I basically took it out of the box, Alexa recognized it, she named it, and turned it on when I asked her to, and then turned it off when I asked her to. I immediately ordered a second one.

> 3 daySuper easy to install. Download the GE Cync app and it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Great for when it gets dark early during the winter months so you don’t have to come home to a dark house. Previously bought a cheaper version while I was on the checkout line at TJ Maxx and it was a waste of $5. The device constantly would disconnect so I’d have to unplug it for a few minutes. The GE Cync does not have that problem, thankfully.

> 3 dayI have become a big fan of GE Cync products over the past few months. We already have over 20 switches and plugs installed. Weve been using one of the plugs in our hallway bathroom. It gets cold in the winter, so in the morning, while still in bed, we turn on a space heater we have plugged in to it using a phone (if handy) or telling our Lenovo smart clock Hey Google, turn on the bathroom heater. In a few minutes, the bathroom is nice and toasty and ready for someone to take a shower. My latest project, since our eufy security system does not provide for expandability to add additional sirens...I have some GE Cync motion sensors on order. Theyll go around the house. Then, I bought a few sirens that Im going to plug in to these GE Cync smart plugs. When were out of the house, if any of the GE Cync motion sensors trigger, all these smart plugs will turn on and sound the sirens.

> 3 dayI love using these. You will have to download the CYNC app from GE to get everything set up, but once your account is set up through the GE CYNC app, Set up is a breeze! Then you just link through google! I chose these GE ones because theyre American made and easier to use than some of the other suspicious apps other smart plugs will make you download. My appliances are GE so I just stuck with what I loved. I wish they were a little smaller but I never see them because theyre behind furniture. Great purchase, would recommend to anyone!
