General 105-BP Pencil Masters Brush Cleaner & Preserver, 1 Pack, Clear

I bought this for cleaning makeup brushes, so keep that in mind. This works as a decent brush cleaner. It definitely cleaned my brushes, though it required a few dips to clean the bigger powder brushes. It doesn’t really lather up like some soaps do, nor does it really have a scent. But it gets the job done! I found wetting the brush, then swirling it on the pan, and then using your fingers to really work the soap in is the best way to get the denser brushes nice and clean. You may have to repeat the steps 2 or 3 times for the really big and dense powder brushes. All in all, this works just as well as much more expensive makeup brush cleaners. I expect this to last me quite a while. But when it does run out I will definitely repurchase.

Easy to use, the paint get out easily. It is not too smelly, but after long contact, it annoys me a lot. (I often want to vomit after spending a long time washing my brushes, but maybe it’s just me bc I don’t see comment with the same problem)

Lives up to the reputation

Using fine detail brushes in painting means caring for them. Cleaning your brushes after use saves you money by keeping their shape and flexibility. This Masters brush soap does an excellent job, I would buy again.

I bought a small 1 Oz. tub at a local art supply and education store where I live some time ago and since I first used it, I fell in love with it.

Works well

Not sure whats in this stuff, but it works better than anything else Ive tried. In addition to washing my brushes with this product, I apply a little to repoint my brushes and keep them conditioned when putting them away (a little swish in water before using gets rid of all before using again).

A must have for acrylic painting. I paint plastic miniatures and went through brushes like hot cakes. I always would have to replace every other miniature due to the bristles going everywhere. Finally invested in a good brush and this cleaner and have not replaced it since. It is super easy to use and it will save you money in the long run. Not to mention it seems like this little tub will last a very long time.

This stuff works. An essential for any artist who doesnt want to constantly be buying new brushes. Save yourself some money and spend the price for soap, especially if you are buying high end sable brushes that cost a fortune as it is.
