I have a 25-year-old #18 Escoda 2410 Kolinsky round point brush that had dried as hard as an arrow point. Id been soaking it in paint thinner for weeks to no avail. I used some warm water and a little of this stuff on it and it began softening right away. After a little more work, its now supple down to the ferrule. To the ferrule, I tell you! But the shocker is that this brush -- I knew it was not a cheap brush, I probably paid $60 for it in the 90s -- now lists for over $500. Crazy.

Holy smokes! Ive never in my life had such an easy time cleaning my foundation brush. This stuff is a miracle for the price. It has a very natural citrusy smell, but can border on smelling like cleaner. Im giving my brushes an extra scrub with baby shampoo just because Im sure the manufacturers werent intending that it should be safe for being rubbed all over someonea face, but it works miracles. Im going to see if it cleans beauty blenders equally as well.

This is amazing soap for cleaning my brushes, both oil and acrylic. It thoroughly cleans and leaves them soft and shiny. How did I live without it?!

I was rather skeptical before using, given that I had neglected to get a cleaner of any kind before starting to paint and subsequently left my brush out to dry for nearly two full days. To say the least I was pleasantly surprised the deep purple plastered in the bristles started to soften up and loose off. Theres still a bit of a stain of color but it feels like new again!
