Any kind of bargain shampoo works to wash brushes. This fancy little puck is nice but overkill and expensive.

It had always been a cumbersome and time consuming process to clean paint brushes especially after oil paint usage.. I sometimes preferred ordering new set of brushes tossing the old ones out rather than spending time cleaning them with toxic turpentine.. I recently started looking for nontoxic alternative to clean brushes and tried this product. Ive been so so so impressed with the ease of use of this product. I cleaned all of my brushes (that had been sitting uncleaned for literally years i kid you not and I was all set to toss them out) that look like brand new now !! Ammmazed at its performance! I wouldnt use anything else but this and highly recommend it for anybody who wants nontoxic convenient solution to maintaining paint brushes ...

So my kids wanted to paint with oils and I remember from my past the horrors of chemicals to clean the brushes. This stuff is so easy to use. Its in the little pot as shown and I just wet it all and swirled it around until the brush seemed clean. I did not notice a scent and I did not look into what its made of but I would recommend it to anybody who wants to paint and not make a mess cleaning brushes.

Great soap for cleaning paint brushes. I have been using citadel paint for my blood angels army and this celaner leaves my brushes looking great!

I had some old brushes that were really hard that still had paid the residue on them. Cleaned a couple times with this product and they are as good as new.

This is a great brush cleaner. Highly recommend.

I was not able to get old acrylic paint out of my brushes like some people claimed to have achieved. I even left the soap in the brushes for a few minutes to see if that would remove old paint but it did not make a difference. However, I did find my brushes a little softer. A vegetable soap like Murphys Oil soap will give you the same results.
