I was able to clean out stains from my older brushes and save a few that were neglected by accident with dried paint. The soap broke down the paint and made the brushes like new. After doing smaller cleanings every so often on my more expensive sable brushes it kept the hairs from fraying. I gave a whirl on glue brushes and I can get multiple uses out out those before tossing them out. Absolutely saves money on replacing brushes less.

for the price I wasnt happy. it does work , but it doesnt make the brush like new it more or less cleans the brush enough to make it useable again. and the amount that rubs off on the brush is excessive and can be a bit clunky. also you have to repeat several, several times. id try another product.

Ive been using this for as long as I can remember. Even if youre a beginner using inexpensive brushes, its much more cost effective to clean them well than it is to continually replace them. Its also a great habit to get into when you start using nicer brushes and want to care for them so they last for years.

I purchased this elsewhere and then from Amazon when I ran out. Amazon had a better deal for the money. The soap is great and lasts a long time. Just remember to give your brushes a quick swipe when youve finished washing them. The soap residue helps to condition them and next time you paint, you just give a quick flick with your fingers and voila, ready to use.

I never knew soup could do this. I rinse my brush and it looks clean. But then I apply the brush to the soap and pigment just drain out of the brush. Im glad I finally made the investment on getting brush soap. I wish I had done with when I first started using expensive kolinsky sable brushes
