> 24 hourI am currently potty training our oldest child using these underpants. They are thick enough to absorb small trickles or to prevent (or lessen) the impact of a major oops! I have found that, for our child, using pull ups underpants was not a solution as she seemed to recognize that she was still basically wearing a diaper and simply continued to wet on herself rather than going to the potty. Also, the pull ups (much like a diaper) are so efficient at absorbing and locking in liquid that they prevented her from feeling wet (a plus when training in my opinion because a little discomfort seems to help motivate her). With these, she can feel that she has wet herself and is uncomfortable, but they absorb a great deal of the mess and have saved my carpet many times already. Her pants do get wet, and we do have to change clothes if we have an accident. But, when she wears regular underpants and has an accident, the urine produces a much greater mess on her and on the floor or furniture. They are not as bulky as a diaper, fit well under clothing, and are easy for the child to remove and replace for potty trips. I would recommend giving these a try, at least as a transition between diaper and regular underpants. We have now moved to using a pull up at night or when traveling and that seems to work well. But, I believe these greatly helped us in making that jump from diapers to potty.

> 24 hourI bought Gerber training underwear 10 years ago for my boys—still have them—and they worked (still work) great. I bought this 4-pack for my little girl. I am not disappointed! She’s an average size 22 month old and the 2T size fit her well. They are thick and absorbent, so a full accident does not make such a mess. I am also noticing that partial accidents are not getting her pants wet, and I only have to change her underwear. I am so glad that I bought these instead of the cute potty training underwear available on Amazon. This is my fourth child I have potty trained using Gerber underwear, and I recommend this brand.

> 24 hourI wasnt actually looking for training pants but these are the smallest undies I could find for my 20lb 2 year old who is potty training. Pull ups did not work for either of my daughters, felt like a diaper to them. These training pants are great. Just enough padding to absorb enough of the pee so you dont have a huge mess to clean up. Dont expect them to absorb a bladder full though. 18mo size fit my daughter well with a little wiggle room.

> 24 hourOther brands just seem to work better and be more reasonably priced. These ones are softer and I got them for the pink colors

> 24 hourI have a tiny girl that decided she wanted panties so I was on the hunt for some training pants that would fit. These did fit better than the 2T size but really are maybe an inch smaller all around. They did stay up if she was running around with no pants where the 2T would slip down after a few minutes. They were loose enough that she could get then up and down again on her own. They arent the most absorbent but they worked fine for us as a transition from diapers to big girl panties. I think the best part about the thick middle is that it looked really uncomfortable when wet (almost squishy) so she had an immediate lesson if she had a accident. We didnt do pull-ups as a training aide, we use them for sleep but we went straight from diapers to these and dealt with the accidents. She trained rather quickly and we are grateful.

> 24 hourThese are cute in person and fit well. The fabric feels comfortable. My only quibble is that there are tags in them, although they dont seem to bother my little one.

> 24 hourPerfect for 18m they are not too tight on the legs (problem I found with other brands) so they quite comfortable and easier for her to pull up for her than other brands. Great for outings and day care so even if she has a pre-pee she can make it to toilet without showing she had a small accident and only needs a change of underwear rather than all clothing. One but is a quality as some threads started to let go after few washings but only in one place so it was easy to fix. Still would rather use those die to comfort and ease of use rather than top quality overpriced and uncomfortable ones.

> 24 hour4 stars because they are larger. I have a daughter who is 3 year old & weighs 30lbs. I purchased the 2t after reading reviews so I am glad I did! They seem like regular panties which is why I got them. They hold up nicely and these are for a child who I would say already has potty training pretty much mastered otherwise you probably will have a mess, These have an awesome purpose for some families just please understand what your getting. They DO prevent leaks on my daughter when she has an accident because it makes her wake up which is nice for us! Im a real mom this is my real review I don believe that amazon should allow fake reviews!

> 24 hourLike how its snug on legs, but not too tight. Very soft fabric. Tip for you: never use fabric softener with these or anything that you need to really absorbent. Happy Potty Training!

> 24 hourWe looked all over the stores for 18 month old underwear for our twins that were potty trained at 18 months, no luck as they start at 2 yr olds. So thankful we found these Gerber training pants! These fit great on our 18 month olds fitting into 18 month old clothes. These do not hold a lot of urine but do held protect against major accidents that might happen... There is a thicker liner on the bottom of each pair that help keep little ones drier but to let them know they have gone. These are not as thin as regular toddler underwear.
