Not just for potty training, my favorite panties in general! These panties are not flimsy. They are thick and well made. My 2 year old can put this on by herself! Sizing: I started potty training at 18 months and my child weighed about 21 lbs. I’m so glad Gerber makes the 18 month size because these were one of the few that fit her! Even at 25 lbs. I prefer these over the 2t sizing because it is more snug. The 2t-3t is still slightly big. Accidents: the absorbent, thick layers makes accidents so much easier to clean up. The first thing I think when she has an accident is-was she wearing Gerber training panties or regular underwater. With Gerber, she may have some tinkle going down her legs, but I’m not going to be see a large puddle on the floor. If anything, there will be a small puddle, less than the size of the palm of my hand, on the floor. This is so much better than regular underwear with zero absorbency. Regular underwear will leave her with completely soaked pants, puddle on the floor, and a footprint trail of pee. SAVE yourself the headache. Buy these and buy a few more. We don’t even use regular underwear. The cut: I love how this truly covers your child’s bottoms. I can’t stand how Walmart underwear is cut so thin in the private area. Little kids are always lifting up their dresses and jumping around. I want my child wearing panties that provide good coverage! These hug well on her thighs and are wide on the bottoms! Diapers/Training Pull ups- We have been very successful with potty training and I owe it to these training panties. My toddler did not seem to mind if her pull up was wet. She would carry on and not even notice at times. It did not work well for us. These panties make it VERY obvious if she wet her underwear. You will need to change it. There’s not walking around and continuing to play with these on. I find that it gives you the perfect balance between wetness but with minimal cleaning. She will even wear this at night and it quickly (within one night) she learned how to not pee on her bed! Thank you Gerber for making potty training a lot easier with this. The one thing I wish was available is a 12-18 months size as well!

I am really happy with these cute potty training underwear. I bought a 3T and my daughter wears a 4T now and they fit fine, even roomy. If you are between sizes, the smaller one may work fine. There is extra padding through the middle and comes up a little over belly button. It absorbs well, but there may still be some leaking depending on the size of the accident since it is just made of cotton. These appealed to my daughter and even now that she is well potty trained, she may pick these over her regular underwear because they are cute and comfy.. PS- daycare REALLY appreciated me bringing these in to school and said they really minimize the mess. Especially when kids are getting pretty good at controlling things and just have small (drip amount) accidents. These project the clothes so only underwear need to be changed.

These fit great on my 2 year old who is potty training and this makes her feel slightly wet, but somehow shes fine with the wetness most days. I guess its absorbent enough and it doesnt bother her. I didnt want to deal with leaky messes and these pants are wonderful because I never have to deal with leaky messes, but I need her to be somewhat uncomfortable so she learns to go to potty. I think these are great for kids who are already potty-trained, but have occasional accidents.

These are wonderful, they hold a nice amount of liquid accidents to not require frantic clothing changes and makes potty training better for us as my daughter can now tell shes wet (unlike the diapers/pull ups which I think pull too much moisture away). My daughter is a very petite preemie for her age, she is 2 and the 18 months are still a little too big but take into consideration she wears a 12 pants normally so these fit around a perfect 18 months in my opinion. I have not noticed the leg holes being different sizes and we have 11 pairs (the blue/pink and the plain white). They also wash relatively well. Just make sure to wash them soon after an accident because the scent can linger in the material it seems.

These pants are quite genius for starting out potting training. They look like underwear, so my girl was open to wearing it. Gerber also makes training pants with a plastic liner in the crotch to hold a little extra pee, but my daughter didnt like the crinkle sound it makes. These are thick cotton with padding to absorb some pee when theres an accident. Put some cotton pants over these and theres some extra absorbancy. There will def be wetness down the legs. If you are looking for zero mess, then get pullup diapers, dont look here. My daughter will just pee in pullups without a care; with these she understood the concept that she needs to pee or else she gets drenched. Great motivator. My kid is 3.5 yrs old, 30 lbs and tall (slender). 3T did fit kinda big like everyone says, but after a few washes they fit a little better while staying soft. Tip: To prevent messes on dining chairs, couches and carpet, have child sit on those waterproof liners for changing pads/cribs and wash when messy. Or use disposable pet peepee pads. Less of a headache. pros: generous booty area=less wedgies! soft leg openings, like a tshirt good thick quality cotton vibrant colors great value for 4 pants

These are great. The leg holes are small - perhaps even too small for a child with very chunky thighs, but my kid has extremely skinny thighs, so its great that these wont be riding up from the sides. There is some padding, and although it doesnt seem like it would do much to soak up the wetness, these seem like the best option for potty training since you want your child to feel that theyve wet themselves. For size reference: I had to order a size 18 months for my 2.5 year old and though she hasnt tried them on yet, they look like they will still have some room for her to grow. She is very petite, aroubd 24 lbs which is I think somewhere around 10th percentile for weight. She is especially tiny around the waist area. Her size 18M leggings currently fit her as ankle/capri leggings and almost all 2T pants are loose around her legs (but for her height, sadly, I cant size down with pants). So I knew I would need to size down with underwear and based on the size of the 18M, 2T would have been way too big for her. If your kid has an average weight, Im sure the regular size would fit just fine.

Other than being a little big on my toddler (shes a few months shy of 3 years old, 27lbs and wears 3T pants) and a bit pricey for only 4, these work great for training. She does so well with knowing she needs to go potty but sometimes she doesnt make it on to the toilet in time so shell be a little wet. These help to keep her pants dry in these cases so I only have to change her underwear. They definitely wouldnt hold a full bladders worth of urine but for little leaks, it does the job!

Great quality training undies, they are really soft and the extra padded area in between the legs is just thick enough to hold a small pee pee or poo poo accident. They fit a little higher than most girls undies, around the waist, but thats not an issue for us, I actually like the fact that they are not hip undies. I love this undies for my twins, they are helping a lot during our potty training process. They shrink a little bit after washing them, so make sure you order one size up. My girls are 25lb @ 14 months, I ordered size 18month but had to exchange for size 2t.

My daughter just turned 15 months and has already been showing interest in ditching diapers and going potty on the toilet. I was looking for panties that would fit her - she weighs 20 pounds, and just couldnt find a size small enough for her. The Gerber infant training pants are perfect! The smallest size I found that they make is 18 month - but they stay up on her nicely and there is still a bit of room for growth. I love how soft and comfy they are - kinda wish they made them in adult sizes, but my honey probably wouldnt be too keen about that. lol. Anyway, I also love that they have a more padded middle section so if there is an accident, for the most part, it soaks it up. Not bulky like a cloth diaper, but way more absorbent than a normal, thin pair of panties. Oh, and my daughter loves them. No squirming and wrestling to get them on! Highly recommend! I love them!
