Gerber Baby Girls Infant Toddler 4 Pack Potty Training Pants and Underwear

I have a very petite 2 1/2 year old who is potty training. (Seriously, she can still wear 12month pants) Its very hard to find training panties for her since they dont normally make them this small. The 18 month size actually stay up on her. The thick cotton helps catch any minor leaks. Its enough for my daughter to realize she was starting to have an accident and go to the potty. My only complaint is that they come up very high like a diaper so they look less like little girl panties. They stick out the top of my daughters pants quite a bit. Because of this, my daughter decided she would refuse to wear them any more. So its back to the normal panties that we had to take in to fit her. Im still giving the review 4 stars because I like them on her, and wish she would keep wearing them. Nice while it lasted.

Gerber products always seem to fit small compared to other companies of the same size, but it works well for me as I have a small little girl. She is 19 lbs at 14 months. We are starting to potty train a little early (because shes ready) and was having difficulty finding some undies that would fit. The 18 mo size says 24-28lbs and, like I said, my daughter is 19lbs and they fit almost perfect. They will probably fit fine for several more pounds, but I doubt a 28lber would be comfortable in them. As far as how they work. I was holding my daughter on my hip...she only had the training pants on. I felt my hip get a little warm, I quick lifted her up and her undies were wet, but my shirt was completely dry! So they did the trick! She realized she was going and my clothes stayed dry!

These were a bit bigger than I expected them to be, based on the size I ordered and the size my daughter wears. But they were so big that we couldn’t use them. I like that they give the option of an underwear like feel with a little bit more absorption. My daughter is mostly potty trained, but occasionally will still have an accident, and these make cleanup easier without taking away from the potty training experience of not wearing a diaper.

Diapers have irritated my daughter since forever, including pull ups - these are amazing - they’re so soft, perfect fit, soak up a whole full bladder, wash easy (machine or by hand). Just ordered another bundle of 4! Going to save a lot of money using these daily instead of diapers!

The pack of undies with the bunnies and pink designs are cute, and my 2.5 yo loves them. We did potty training in them. They’re lined where it matters, and will hold a tiny accident but not a large one. Perfect for potty training and easy for a toddler to pull up on their own.

My daughter just turned 15 months and has already been showing interest in ditching diapers and going potty on the toilet. I was looking for panties that would fit her - she weighs 20 pounds, and just couldnt find a size small enough for her. The Gerber infant training pants are perfect! The smallest size I found that they make is 18 month - but they stay up on her nicely and there is still a bit of room for growth. I love how soft and comfy they are - kinda wish they made them in adult sizes, but my honey probably wouldnt be too keen about that. lol. Anyway, I also love that they have a more padded middle section so if there is an accident, for the most part, it soaks it up. Not bulky like a cloth diaper, but way more absorbent than a normal, thin pair of panties. Oh, and my daughter loves them. No squirming and wrestling to get them on! Highly recommend! I love them!

I got this underwear because the smallest size I could find in any store was 2T (28+ lbs) and my daughter is barely 25 lbs. the 2Ts in the store had a plastic layer inside to help prevent leaks, so I believed I was getting the same in a smaller size. There is no plastic layer. (I guess I should have read more reviews before buying because someone else mentioned it), That said, the area that might be peed in is extra thick (double cotton plus some sort of cotton insert). If you buy the waterproof cover that you can find in many local stores (I believe its meant to be used over reusable diapers), it works perfectly with these underpants. No leaks! I cant say the same for regular 2T underwear (small versions of adult underwear) which leak through the leg holes in the plastic covers. They fit my almost 25 lb. (32in tall) daughter perfectly. They are high rise and reach up to the navel. 2T is way too big on her for this type of underwear, while 2T regular underwear and diapers fit her fine. Purchased a bunch of these training underwear from amazon as well as other local retailers for kids potty training. Some potty training proponents suggest that thicker, more absorbent underwear is not the ideal training scenario, as it is desirable for the child to feel the wetness if they have an accident. For our kids, that wasnt any benefit, so we purchased some normal underwear for everyday wear, and these thicker underwear for times we are more concerned about accidents. These only go up to size 3, and they are slightly small in my opinion, I wish they were slightly bigger or offered in one size larger. For my kids between the ages of 2 and a half to 3, it fit okay, but was snug around the leg holes. If your kid has large or chubby legs, this might not fit comfortably. The underwear is well made, and the thick fabric setup does absorb most of any liquid accidents. Overall very happy with this product.

I was so excited to order this product for my 2 yr old daughter that is potty training. People has told me about them. She is doing so well already, with the occasional accident... When she has an accident she is able to go a little and then stop, and finish on the potty. The little thicker padding in these was perfect, so that it atleast didnt run down her legs and even sometimes didnt get to her pants! (if we caught it quick enough) We talked about how these were her big girl underwear she was excited. The colors are really cute and you can tell they are pretty well made.. The only thing is that the leg holes were a little snug for her liking. I actually just stretched them out of habit and could hear tearing.. But thats ok. I have washed them and they have held up just fine and she is very comfortable in them. She is about at 2T now and from reading other reviews I ordered her 18mo and they fit perfect! Just what I was looking for!

These pants are quite genius for starting out potting training. They look like underwear, so my girl was open to wearing it. Gerber also makes training pants with a plastic liner in the crotch to hold a little extra pee, but my daughter didnt like the crinkle sound it makes. These are thick cotton with padding to absorb some pee when theres an accident. Put some cotton pants over these and theres some extra absorbancy. There will def be wetness down the legs. If you are looking for zero mess, then get pullup diapers, dont look here. My daughter will just pee in pullups without a care; with these she understood the concept that she needs to pee or else she gets drenched. Great motivator. My kid is 3.5 yrs old, 30 lbs and tall (slender). 3T did fit kinda big like everyone says, but after a few washes they fit a little better while staying soft. Tip: To prevent messes on dining chairs, couches and carpet, have child sit on those waterproof liners for changing pads/cribs and wash when messy. Or use disposable pet peepee pads.
