Works great with Google Home controlling outside lights

They want your wifi password, location always active land connection to your Bluetooth for the outlet to connect otherwise they won’t work and for what? To run power to my outlet???? Gtfoh. That’s why they’re the cheapest choice. The outlet is a loss leader so they can sell your data. Oh and you MUST switch your wifi to 2.4 GHz which is a slower connection for all my other devices. And again I ask you, for what purpose? Just to plug in an outlet and use a timer? Gtfoh

A bit difficult to set up and the app is a bit busy with other nonsense

This is a smart plug that works with Tuya Smartlife, meaning that its compatible with any apps that follow that same standard. In case you want to control the plug through your PC, Tuya doesnt provide a native Windows app that I know of, but there are workarounds, one of which is using Tuya Smartlife through bluestacks. Ive found that the plug generally works well, but that it is sometimes very slow to respond, which I believe is due to sharing a network with a great many other smart devices, and for some reason this plug is always the first to be hard to access. In addition, its been known to stop responding entirely. Im not sure exactly what the issue is. I suspected heat issues for a while, but that doesnt seem to be the case. When it stops responding, the physical button will still work, so you do have an option to turn the plug on and off, if it goes offline in the app.

THIS PRODUCT IS VERY HARD TO FIGURE OUT YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE APP FOR THE PRODUCT AND LINK IT THEN YOU HAVE TO LINK IT TO ALEXA TOOK ME ABOUT THREE HOURS TO FIGURE OUT

I use 3 of these to control our TV and streaming devices, a sub woofer wi-fi connected to a sound bar, and our coffee maker.

Absolutely love this device it works perfectly thru the app.

Gosund app has a fatal flaw. Works 0% of the time. Smart Life app works perfectly. Nice looking. Too big to have more than one in an outlet.
