> 3 daybought these from amazon warehouse used $20.. box was in terrible condition, but expected and perfectly fine.. products were in brand new condition in every way. I assume someone tried to set these up and it was too difficult for them so they returned them. technology is hard. took me a while and a lot of troubleshooting to get them to work. I had to make sure location services were enabled because w/o it enabled, the whole setup process seemed to not work properly. I usually have this service turned off. Make sure you understand these only can be setup via 2.4ghz band. shouldnt really be an issue since most competent routers have dual band. this is my initial impression, but every one of the four plugs works fine. the scheduler works fine and so does the timer. I did use another app to set them up... the gosung app was disgusting. it was full of ads and forced users to create an account. deleted it immediately and was going to return the product, but the documentation said i could also use smart life app and that one, while being very simplistic in functionality, didnt require any personal information or account creation to use... nor is it riddled with ads everywhere. That said, if I do wan to use features like voice activation, cloud sync, etc. I will still have to make an account with any app, but smart life app allows me to use the basic functions of these plugs w/o creating an account. i.g. manually using the app to turn on/off plugs, manually making schedules, and using the timer. This is perfectly fine by me for now. I eventually may create an account, but I do like that Im not required to. Ill only be using these for simple things. Cutting the power to my speakers, lamps/lights, fan in the summer, and router. -1 star for the gosund app. I would recommend if youre not an impatient person. This sorta goes for everything in life though. Depending on how these last, I will probably buy some more (hopefully used to save $$)to replace the RF plugs I have. Or I may try some different brands to see how they perform.

> 3 dayI spent a half hour trying nearly every plug in the house but the stupid thing would never connect to my wifi. It would either time out or fail to connect. Complete waste of time and money.

> 3 dayIt took a little while to sync it up with Alexa, but once I got the hang of it, it worked well.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs provide great flexibility when used with the GoSund app. It can be turned on or off instantly or by a timer or based upon a schedule. Can also be switched manually from the switch on the side. They also work great with both Alexa and Google Home. I label each one so that it is easy to remember which name to use when controlling from Alexa or Google. Ive been using these plugs without any issues for about 4 years now. Great value for the money.

Greater than one weekThis worked for about 7 weeks and then it completely broke and wouldnt turn on. No lights, nothing. Also you have to download gosunds app which barrages you with popup ads every time you want to access the smart switch which i found to be annoying.

> 3 dayI bought 8 I’ve only gotten 3 to pair. I’ve put 4 in pairing mode manually numerous times and they are located but will not join the network. I will call a support number tomorrow and hopefully they are helpful.
