This felt like a waste of money - I usually get the more basic blue 5 blade Venus heads and those work great. Thought I’d try these but they barely shaved off my hair and did not get a close shave at all. I was so frustrated and I honestly haven’t used another one. Wish I had returned.

LOVE THIS RAZOR AND I CONTINUE PURCHASING RAZOR BLADE REFILLS BECAUSE IT IS ABLE TO COMFORTABLY SHAVE MY EXTREMELY THICK & CURLY HAIR. NEVER GET RAZOR BURN ON MY LEGS OR UNDERARMS AND ONLY MINOR IRRITATION IN SENSITIVE AREAS SUCH AS BIKINI REGION. THERE ARE TWO CONS I’VE EXPERIENCED WITH THIS PRODUCT. FIRST, THE RAZOR HANDLE SLIGHTLY CRACKED IT’S PLASTIC FRAME UNDERNEATH THE GEL COATING CAUSING IT TO BE SLIGHTLY FLIMSILY. THIS CRACK WAS USER ERROR SINCE IT HAPPENED AFTER I DROPPED THE RAZOR IN THE TUB AND THEN PROCEEDED TO UNKNOWINGLY STEPPING ON IT. MUCH SMALLER CRACK THEN I HAD EXPECTED AFTER TAKING THAT DROPPED. MY SECOND CON SURROUNDING THIS PRODUCT IS THE LONGEVITY OF THE CARTRIDGE. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THE SOAP AROUND THE RAZOR BLADE WEARS OUT WAY TO QUICKLY LEAVING A PERFECTLY USABLE BLADE TO WASTE. IT’S HARD TO USE THE BLADES EVEN AFTER THE PINK SOAP HAS WORN AWAY SINCE ALL THAT’S LEFT UNDERNEATH IS HARD PLASTIC WHICH ENDS UP RUBBING (CAUSING ME IRRITATION).

I thought about 4 stars because of the price and then thought about the time and steps plus materials needed to make each one. So for those that complain about the price, grab the cheaply made ones and be careful. As for the shave, smooth and close...as a regular one. Works excellent for my 10 year old whos armpits have become an embarrassment for her. Sure I have tons of short & long sleeve tops but the few months of summer, tank tops and sleeveless bathing suits are a must and these dont cut her like the regular cartridges. They give that nice added soap but more importantly shes not getting big cuts. There is a difference though with her...when I was showing her how I was able get a closer cut. Now that she insists on doing it herself, theres stuble. I am 30 years older and have experience! Hoping she will get a closer shave but glad shes not getting sliced.

I love this line of razors. Lazy as it sounds, I hate applying shaving cream. Its an extra product in my shower that takes up room I could reserve for the huge assortment of shower goodies I love to use (Im a beauty product junkie-its an addiction!) My limited shower space is already filled with huge hauls of gels, creams, cleansers, treatments, masks, exfoliants, scrubs, shampoos, conditioners, and of course...razors. Ive been using Venus Spa line for awhile now and I dont plan on switching anytime soon. It keeps my skin moisturized with all areas lubricated enough to easily glide the razor across my skin. I never get nicks or cuts and my legs leave the shower smooth even when I dont use a scrub. I also.recommend this product to those with young girls learning to shave. Its way better than the bulky intuition razors and my daughter hasnt had any cuts in the year shes been shaving. The only reasons I didnt give this the 5th star...the difficulty in shaving bikini line. Its a little bulky and when shaving hard to reach areas, it can be somewhat challenging. I use another razor solely for that purpose. 2nd reason: I feel like the refill razors could be a bit lower in price. In general, I think the prices we pay for razors are outrageous, but they get away with it because here in America, we like to be hairless. I guess that when you take away the price of shaving cream by using the built in lubricant, the total price balances out. I really do love these razors and didnt receive free product or discounts for my review.

Incredibly expensive, and easy to cut yourself with due to the large pads on both sides. They dull as you expect but you wont go far with them if you shave often.
