Since Venus launched (many years ago) its the only razor/razorblade I use. Ive had to use others in a pinch over the years and nothing compares to the smooth glide of Venus. The handle itself is so-well made - doesnt slip out of your hand in the shower due to the easy to grip material and ergonomic design - and the blades are so moisturizing you dont even need to use cream or suds for a smooth, clean shave. The scent is very mild and the large moisture strips on top and bottom make each stroke glide like magic.

I only buy this brand of razor refills. I like that I can use them in the shower or with lotion and get the same completely shaven result. Will buy again as this is my go-to brand.

I have used these For years and the cost was a problem. But I have managed to find better price here and there so I keep using them

I have had these razor heads on Subscribe & Save for years! These are great razor heads, easy to change out and help lower the environmental impact by letting me use the same base each time. They provide a close shave, soft skin, and last for quite a few shaves before needing to be changed. The price for Subscribe & Save cant be beat.

The Gillette Venus Spa, although bought for my wife, I must admit I had to use on several occasions, so from personal experience as well as knowing from her experience, she personally loves this razor and will use nothing else. I on the other hand find the soap strips in properly placed, being that I believe they could have designed this razor with the soap strip incorporated in a better way. Being a 3 blade design, I find is more than sufficient ironically and the blades are well made, close to if not identical to their male counterpart. Way over priced, as usual, part in due to not enough publicly known competition. The handle, especially in comparison to its male counter part is junk, no flex technology, although the benefit of it, although helps, it is not a make or break deal. The price point on these are worse, compared to its male counterpart, for what you get. The big selling point on this product is the soap strip. Another mention of note is that you receive 6 cartridges instead of 4. Pros: Solid 3blade design with moistening soap bar, 6 cartridges opposed to 4, blades have a descent shelf life. Cons: Most woman will find that not only the soap bar will eventually fall off before the bar is fully used, and as a result most woman will want a new cartridge. Price point is high. Handle is cheaply made of plastic, and again, with the price point, a better handle should be given. Although, note, this product does not contain a handle, as it is just the refills. The handle is apart of the whole product, which should be mentioned. In comparing to what is publicly on the market, most woman will like this product, but these companies are way over charging and especially in this case where the soap bar falls off before full use of it, making women prefer a new cartridge at such point. I give this product a 3.5/5, although only a 3 option is given. The soap bar falling off before full use is just wasting your money. Remember, it is all about the marketing with companies, and getting you hooked into the product with exaggeration of stated features/benefits, giving a good core product, high price point, but also making the product as such, that you need to come back to them.

I will say if you shave often or not as often as you would like to admit these are great. One shaver last I’d say 2 weeks or maybe at least 5 head to toe shaves(armpits, legs, toe knuckle). So the soap on top and below razors work for maybe 2-3 shaves where you can just use it alone. I don’t recommend not using extra soap or even shampoo that drips on your legs (anything) the razor can still last and be used but I think that’s a separate review cus if you are using it as a shaver it will last longer if you use it with other soap. If you are looking to get this instead of using shaving cream, soap, something to put on before you shave these are for you BUT you will probably need to change them more frequently and will get razor bumps when soap dissolves after uses
