I was skeptical when we got these, but I had so many razors that cut me before that I really needed something different. These haven’t disappointed me! I love how moisturizing they are and that I don’t have to put on any shaving cream to shave. I just run my skin under the water for a while, wet the razor head, and shave outside of the water for a nice shave! It is also nice that the moisturizing part of the razor can pop off so you can use the razor as is after the moisture strip is gone...although they last me a month anyway and it is a good time to change the whole razor :) I would recommend these to friends because of their convenience and because my legs aren’t getting cut like before!

These come in handy for a quick no mess shave, however, they dont last as long as they should for what they cost.

The lotion or soap on the razor head is wonderful. The blades are sharp and there is no substitute for a disposable razor.

I thought it was just me noticing a change with my skin after using these razors. To me Im thinking these are Venus so they should be good so it has something to do with the hairs on my body which wasnt a problem so much before. Then I came here today and saw that some reviewers have been having the same problem with these razors. So the question is if these are authentic or has this brand change their product (not for the better)? Why I say that is because using a brand new Venus razors purchased from a store or pharmacy prior gave me a smooth shave and lasted long and the hairs went growing as fast. After the heads needed replacing I ordered these from this site and Ive been getting razor bumps now on my bikini area, getting cuts, I just shaved my legs last night and could still feel stubles on my legs- keep in mind I use shaving cream along with it. It doesnt give me a close enough shave I feel and my hair has been growing back a little faster. So as I said in the beginning it may just be me and a change to my skin.

Ive been using Venus razors and refills for over a decade. I tried these because they were a good deal at the time I needed some. I wanted to like them, but the soap bars/strips fall off in my bath water, and I dont like that. (I dont even store my razor in a wet shower; I keep it in a jar beside my sink and use it in my garden tub once or twice a week.) I also end up using shaving gel anyway because the soap bars just arent enough for me. These blades do get the job done, but they are awkwardly shaped after the soap bars are gone. Ill be going back to my traditional Venus refills next time because I do think they are better in general AND give a smoother shave.

Kind of disappointed as I’ve used other Gillette blades and thought these would at least be normal at minimum, the crazy amount of goo generated on these blades is such a turn off and seems to negate the blades performance, poor blades never stood a chance with that set up.

Absolutely love this razor.

I started using the tea tree refills a few years ago and love them. However, the last time I bought them, one of the refills was an Oil of Olay sample refill. That would be fine if it was an extra and not one of the four. I ended up throwing that one away after only a few uses because it was like I hadnt shaved. 100 percent recommend the tea tree, but not the Olay, and I hate that I was shorted one refill because of a sample of an inferior product.
