> 3 dayThe GMMK 2 is an upgrade in all respects from the original GMMK. I really like the 96% layout since it feels like a TKL board but has a number pad. Its VERY quiet out of the box and the linear switches are smooth and nice to type on or game on. I generally prefer tactile switches (like Cherry MX Brown or Glorious Panda) but the Red Fox linear switches the GMMK2 comes with are very nice. The software and driver are functional. Not great but they work fine. You can set the input lag to 0ms, 8ms, or 16ms (it defaults to 16ms). Higher will avoid key chatter, lower will tighten up input lag. RGB lighting is very bright and there are numerous choices for patterns and the option of setting per key. Of note: There are 3 layers you can define settings for in the Glorious software. This includes macros and lighting settings for each layer. Hotkeys are definable to swap/cycle layers. Its a very nice keyboard, much better than its predecessor (which is now discounted significantly). It may not measure up to some of the higher end custom build keyboards that are available through group buys or Drop, but it gets pretty close. Like, real close. Alternatively, you can look at the Keychron Q2 which would be a smaller keyboard with a knob. Build quality is slightly higher but so is the price. The GMMK Pro is also an option (again, smaller layout). But I would advise waiting to see if they port over some of the enhancements from the GMMK 2 to a new version of the Pro before buying one of those. TLDR; Its a great keyboard. Feels nice, sounds good, customizable if you want to change it later on. And the price is right. I like it.

> 3 dayI have used many many keyboards over the years. I have ctrl custom boards and razer, roccat and everything in between. This is the best compromise Ive had. The pre-lubed keys were perfect, and felt amazing. The body is the perfect weight, and I just love everything about it. The price is great too! The keys have a great tactile response. I really cant get enough of it. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayIf youre looking for a good quality keyboard this is definitely one of the better choices on the market. The keycaps are nice and consistent, the chassis is extremely solid, and the backlight has a nice variation of colors that can be easily changed. It can also be cleaned very easily since the keyboard is not recessed.

> 3 dayThis GMMK 2 from Glorious has been my daily use keyboard for the past few weeks now and I have to admit I am quite impressed with its out of the box performance. I know that at first Glorious with their early runs of the GMMK Pro were having issues with the lube on their stabilizers, but it seems like they have dialed it in and I am really pleased with the stabilizers on this board, there is little to no rattle on the modifier keys, except for the space bar which needs a little bit of work. The prelubed fox switches just feel like better cherry mx reds, their actuation force and overall feel are really similar to that of cherry mx reds but the smoothness is a bit better as they are lubed. The switch lubing seems to have been done quite well and I didnt notice any keys that felt over or under lubed. The keycaps are just standard double shot abs keycaps and feel as you would expect, the legend is crisp and the shine through backlighting looks great. The customizability in the Glorious Core software is really good and I have zero complaints there. The overall construction of the chassis is great it has a hunk of metal for a top half and the bottom is plastic which makes for some rather interesting acoustics, has a nice deep note to it without any of the pinging that comes with some poorly designed all metal boards. Overall this is a great starter board if you are looking to get into custom mechanical keyboards, it has fantastic out of the box performance but also has plenty of room to improve and that can be easily done with its hotswap sockets and relatively easy disassemble process.

> 3 dayI love the feeling of the keys when typing. The switches and sounds they make when pressed are quiet enough not to bother anyone but satisfying to hear. Also this thing is heavy and seems like be made out of solid metal. Holds up very well, and I have no complaints. Was my first time buying from this company and I would do it over again in a heartbeat!

> 3 dayRGB is really bright and the quality is great. The keyboard supports QMK too. Note the default software does not let you layer effects.

> 3 dayI’m not a huge fan of buying into mainstream gaming products, so I was a bit hesitant when I saw the GMMK 2, but I’m honestly impressed with how decent the board is for a prebuilt gaming board. The stabilizers are stock lubed, though the lube job is mediocre at best, but the lighting effects looks fantastic and the board is very well built. I’d be a bit hesitant to pay full price for the GMMK 2, but it’s a really solid board overall. This board has a ton of potential and I know it could be fantastic with a bit of modding.

> 3 dayThe keyboard is heavy and stable. I bought the linear switch and it feels a little heavier in the hand than my old k70 speed switch. Generally speaking, it is worth having, very beautiful, and can be DIY. But the package came broken. Luckily the accessories are still there.

> 3 dayGlorious Gaming Keyboard - GMMK 2 - TKL Hot Swappable Mechanical Keyboard, Red Switches, Wired, TKL Gaming Keyboard, Compact Keyboard - 65% Percent Keyboard (Black RGB Keyboard) Im done with the big keyboard manufacturers. This is hands down my favorite 65% keyboard. Its solid, weighty, and wellmade. Red Fox linear switches the GMMK2 comes with are very nice and have a great feel. I went from Some different Razer keyboards to building a few keyboards (lubing switches and everything). The custom keyboards were good but took too much time and still felt kind of cheap at the price point of this keyboard. After getting this GMMK2 keyboard Im done. It really is the best of everything. Build quality is fantastic, its rock solid. The switches really dont need to be messed with (you can if you want but they really feel good right out of the box. The keycaps are ok, theyre ABS but most people will just change them anyway. The software is pretty basic and thats fine. overall, Im really happy with this board.
