> 3 dayShe feels lovely out of the box. The flat profile of the board is totally my aesthetic and I love that it comes in a pink option with the matching keycaps. The stock switches feel really nice and smooth - Im not a linear gal but they feel really good. The space around the USB C port is large which means it can accommodate my aviator cables I already own. While the software does trigger a security alert from defender on Windows 11, you can bypass it and still install it and works just fine on Windows 11. I was able to update the firmware which added more on-board LED profiles. I am not a big macro person so I didnt bother with that part sorry.

> 3 dayThe keyboard is great, the stabs on the other hand a 4/10, the glorious fox switches are great for typing not so much for gaming with a 2.2mm actuation. If you get the keyboard replace the stabs.

> 3 dayIve gone through about 6 different mechanical keyboards to fit my gaming and productivity work as well as the aesthetics for my workstation setup. And this keyboard fits the bill perfectly. The keyboard has arrow keys which was something I needed, and its small enough to give me enough mouse space for playing FPS games. I highly recommend this keyboard. Its great right out of the box. I only wish the keycaps were PBT, but thats just a personal preference, and you can always replace them as I did with pudding keycaps, and the lights look even better with those keycaps.

> 3 dayThe GMMK 2 is an upgrade in all respects from the original GMMK. I really like the 96% layout since it feels like a TKL board but has a number pad. Its VERY quiet out of the box and the linear switches are smooth and nice to type on or game on. I generally prefer tactile switches (like Cherry MX Brown or Glorious Panda) but the Red Fox linear switches the GMMK2 comes with are very nice. The software and driver are functional. Not great but they work fine. You can set the input lag to 0ms, 8ms, or 16ms (it defaults to 16ms). Higher will avoid key chatter, lower will tighten up input lag. RGB lighting is very bright and there are numerous choices for patterns and the option of setting per key. Of note: There are 3 layers you can define settings for in the Glorious software. This includes macros and lighting settings for each layer. Hotkeys are definable to swap/cycle layers. Its a very nice keyboard, much better than its predecessor (which is now discounted significantly). It may not measure up to some of the higher end custom build keyboards that are available through group buys or Drop, but it gets pretty close. Like, real close. Alternatively, you can look at the Keychron Q2 which would be a smaller keyboard with a knob. Build quality is slightly higher but so is the price. The GMMK Pro is also an option (again, smaller layout). But I would advise waiting to see if they port over some of the enhancements from the GMMK 2 to a new version of the Pro before buying one of those. TLDR; Its a great keyboard. Feels nice, sounds good, customizable if you want to change it later on. And the price is right. I like it.

> 3 dayThe GLORIOUS GMMK 2 comes prebuilt with linear switches which gives off a quiet sound, satisfying to the ears. The keyboard comes with the ability to download software where you can control the lighting and shortcuts. It is full size but it feels small which is nice because it doesn’t take a lot of my desk space.

> 3 dayFor some reason I went on a keyboard buying frenzy trying to find the right one for me. I bought complete ones, barebones kits and more keycaps than I want to admit. The first Glorious I bought was the 60% GMMK 1 which I put Kailh silvers in, Aura keycaps, Glorious coiled USB-C and Ranked rubber MOBA keys. I thought for sure I found my keyboard but then the GMMK 2 started calling my name. This time I purchased the complete black keyboard w/ lubed Fox switches and double-shot ABS caps. I changed out the caps for all different color pudding caps and added the rubber WASD for gaming but kept going back to the original ABS black. They just look so nice. Out of all the boards I have I mostly use this one and the original. I really like the 65% form over the 60% and I really like the LED panel on the side over the original and the lubed fox switches really make all the others feel like junk. The only thing Id prefer about the GMMK over the 2 was the offset usb connection, for some reason i just liked the connection better than the centered USB on the 2. Definitely not a deal breaker and just a personal preference. Im definitely going to pick up the numbpad next and eventually the GMMK Pro but the GMMK 2 w/ numbpad seems to be the best combo for my purposes. Gonna have to keep my eye on the sales and grab one when I can. Im definitely a fan of Glorious now!

18-04-2025bought the keyboard as a backup for my custom keyboard that uses the DZ60 pcb with QMK support. I mainly bought the glorious keyboard for that QMK support, since i use it daily for my work. Followed the directions online and it doesnt work. Im not new to QMK since I setup my DZ60, so I dont understand why I cant get it to work with the glorious gmmk 2. Anyways I reached out to Glorious on their website but no response. So, im returning. If you buy this keyboard with the intention of using with QMK, good luck.. but I think most users arent going that route anyways. The keyboard itself is decent, i like the linear switches. I got a brass plate on my custom keyboard and it feels like im typing on concrete. My joints hurt, but on this keyboard doesnt hurt. The white isnt really white, its actually silver base. I like the default rgb colors. May have to go the custom route again with a DZ60
