> 3 dayTLDR; I researched for weeks to find the quietest mechanical keyboard under $150 and this was the winner. Quiet, responsive, solid build, backlit AND readable in the dark, and built-in memory for macros/button customization. LED customization so it doesnt have to look so gamer-y. Excellent keyboard for the price! Pre-built was the most cost-effective way to go since it included the Fox linear switches. I originally purchased it thinking I would switch them to gateron browns, but the I actually really like the Fox switches. They are very responsive and very quiet! I needed something less clicky for when I was working from home because the logitch mx blue switches drove my wife crazy. Since I was using this for gaming and work, I wanted it compact with a numpad. The GMMK 2 delivered! Its only ~2 longer than most TKL boards and has enough separation between the arrows and numpad that I dont typo. The keyboard did have a little bit of a learning curve with a smaller (1u) 0 key on the numpad, but after this adjustment its been great. The Glorious software allows you to full customize the keyboard LEDs, button functions, and macros. Theres no dedicated Home button, so I was able to re-bind a key to do it. Another plus is this is a great beginner keyboard for those wanting to get into modding. I changed the keycaps to PBT and rubberized caps and made the keyboard even quieter and thoccy by doing the foam mod, bandaid mod, and adding O-ring. Rubberized arrow keycaps made for more textural separated to prevent typos even more.

> 3 dayI am by no means new to the mechanical keyboard scene, Ive seen countless (and owned) keyboards from many of the big name brands such as Logitech, Razer, Glorious, Corsair, and so on. This keyboard shocked me with its hefty and stocky feeling, the metal top frame, hot-swappable switches, allowing me to add most of the keys from my favor vendors, and the fact that there is fully adjustable RGB for each switch. Ive never used the Glorious Fox Red switches, but after using them, I can say that they are my favorite to date. The lubricating makes them silky smooth, making typing a pleasurable experience that isnt loud. Overall, I would say that this keyboard is a great deal, especially if youre looking to move on from the generic everyday keyboards, and want to break into the entry level enthusiast mechanical keyboard scene. It has great bones for future upgrades!

> 3 dayThis keyboard is next level quality at this price point… has a very satisfying weight and performs as well if not better than big name gaming peripherals I’ve had in the past. Worth it for sure!

> 3 dayI love this keyboard. I love it. I miss some of the keys from a full size board though. Extremely solid! Sturdy board - really like that. Sounds awesome. I REALLY hate that that feet to angle it are plastic while the rest of the base is metal. I would LOVE some metal angle feet.

> 3 dayIf you like quiet keyboards without the clattering noise associated with normal mechanical switch keyboards, this might be the one for you. I’m not a fan of the feel though. Also, this must be the densest in weight keyboard I’ve ever hefted. I mean it is amazingly heavy for its size. Which does mean it won’t get bumped around the desktop. Other than that it seems well made with a nice USB-C port as the connector.

> 3 dayFirst of all I started winning so many chicken dinners with this board. My KD went up by like a thousand percent. My production at work sky-rocketed because of the quiet pre-lubed Fox linear switches. I successfully defended my home from a robbery with this board in the middle of an intense final circle because its so heavy you can literally use it as a weapon. I discovered the meaning of life. Planted a tree. Bought a new house and ascended into keyboard greatness. Oh and you get some really cool stickers. So buy it.

> 3 dayThe keyboard is great, the stabs on the other hand a 4/10, the glorious fox switches are great for typing not so much for gaming with a 2.2mm actuation. If you get the keyboard replace the stabs.
