Flash points: - Extremely high quality for the price. Mostly aluminum body, thick braided USB, feet angle is great. Hard to top in price range. - Hot swap PCB constructed well - inserting and removing switches has caused ZERO issues (NOT SO ON ALMOST TWICE AS MUCH DROP CTRL, WHICH FAILED AFTER 2 SWITCH REMOVALS) - RBG light dispersion & patterns standard but quality My only complaint would be to eventually move to an all aluminum chassis for better sound, but they are solving for this by releasing the all aluminum GMMK Pro. Overall, nothing even close in the category. Hot swap opens up an entire switch world for the consumer to explore With the GMMK. Quality is very high for an entry level board. Don’t hesitate if on the fence - it’s a great board.

Great barebones option. Solid construction. Foam inside to reduce rattle and ping. Easy to work with. Takes 3 pin switches. Bought first one for my wifes build. Fantastic and easy. Mine showed up with scratches all over. This was the second keyboard I have ordered for myself due to the same issues. My wifes was perfect though. Spotty quality control.

The GMMK compact fit my acco cs reds perfectly and is very durable. It has USB-C and is sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget custom keyboard.

The market for full size custom keyboards is basically non existent so there isnt a ton of choice. This one is almost great. Build quality is good. LEDs are bright. Design is pretty clean. But the tolerances are not great though. Ive had a ton of trouble getting my switches socketed in properly. Its not easy to open up the case for modding. The best thing this has going for it is that its regularly in stock. But if there was a viable competitor Id have gotten that instead.

Definitely did not like this keyboard, even after all the mods I could think of. It just sounds awful, better of Plast-dipping the inside case for any kind of dampening since theres no room for foam. The aluminum is cheap and bad. Most importantly the tolerance on the keyswitch holes is too loose. Taking off keycaps will remove your switch which already adds a lot of stress on the hotswap sockets. Meaning if youre only swapping keycaps frequently, youll still end up with a bum board sooner than normal because your switches will also come out anyways. Spend a couple more bucks and get something in the $100 range if you really want to buy this. I wouldnt recommend it, but if its what you got free as a gift or just the price is too good or whatever it isnt worth it.

This is a great option for the budget oriented consumer who wants to build there own mechanical keyboard with there own switches and key caps. It is fantastic! Only with Glorious would actually make a useful software to use. It works for RGB controls, but horrible for macros.

This keyboard is a very good value for the money and the features you get from it. From the hot swappable switches and custom key caps available, it ticked off all the boxes I required for a keyboard. Switches are quick and responsive without too much extra noise from them compared to some others Ive used. Body of the keyboard is high quality with the aluminum top used. I also like the removable USB-C cable that if something was to happen to it, could easily be replaced. My only complaint is the shipping process, I ordered one time and received the Silver/White keyboard when I had ordered the black and returned and re-ordered when I was told a replacement order could not be done. I then again for a second time received another Silver/White keyboard instead of black, and when a replacement was shipped for a third time, it was another Silver/White. I got tired of ordering and just settled for the silver/white as the black was in/out of stock at the time.
