This keyboard is probably one of the best hotswappable boards on the market. It features USB type C connectivity and an overall sleek design. Plus, the board has a nice weight to it which further increases the overall sturdiness of the board. Multiple different lighting effects are available too. Considering there is no function keys (f1-12,) they are integrated nicely with easy hot key orders. Additionally, this board is 3 pin hotswappable, perfect for a variety of key switches. I used Kalih Box Reds and they sound great in combination with this new board.

This is an incredible value for a high quality hotswap keyboard. The case is very sturdy, without flex, and has a premium feel to it. The stabilizers, from what I understand, have been updated since these keyboards first came out. I wish I could upload a typing sound test because the stabs sound fantastic after lubing with Krytox 205g0 (the stabs come factory lubed but the lube job isnt the best). I have lubed and filmed Gateron milky yellow switches installed on this board, with Akko Neon doubleshot PBT cherry profile caps, and the typing experience is very, very good. If you want the feel of a high-end custom keeb without spending high-end custom keeb prices, youll get pretty close with a GMMK as long as youre putting decent switches in it and lubing the stabs.

Minimalist design, no logos, solid construction, great weight, hot swappable switches, RGB, etc... Whats not to love? It would be really nice to have a removable USB cable instead of the hard-wired cable, but thats not really a big deal. You cannot go wrong with this board!

Had 0 problems getting my new switches to work on this keyboard. The rgb lighting settings are great, with lots of presets. You can customize it but havent tried that, each key has the full spectrum,

They feel really nice for the value, it’s extremely clean. Of right now I have box jade switches and I’ve ordered some MTE key caps. But of rn I am using hyper x pudding caps which are nice but I prefer classic looking keyboards. But the switches on these are so crisp I love them. Easy to use plug in and play.

I added some silent linear switches and my preferred keycaps and made my dream keyboard! Highly recommended!

the keyboard disconnects from the computer when lightly shocked by static, and the middle row stopped working after a larger static discharge. not a super huge issue but be careful as this seems like a flaw with the metal casing

as the title says, you get a little more than you pay for. its durable reliable and pretty good all around. the only problems i have with it are: a few loose sockets where the switches can fall out without much force (could just be a defect with mine not too sure), and its a 3 pin plate mount keyboard meaning you will have to clip the 2 plastic legs. thats all that holds me back from giving it a higher rating . despite those 2 problems its a really nice keyboard and definitely worth it if youre a new enthusiast. however there is a new version coming out called the gmmk pro and if youre willing to spend the extra $100 buy that instead

This is my first jump into custom mech keyboards and all my criticisms are nit picky garbage that doesn’t at all change the fact that I highly recommend this board. First note: the included keycap pry tool is a bit finicky to get out of the chassis and the experience of trying to pry it out makes me nervous I might scratch or damage the case. Second note: documentation doesn’t say anything about the win lock key’s existence and there aren’t labels for the two LED’s that sit above the arrow keys (caps lock and win lock respectively). Only other criticism: I sometimes wish the feet on the bottom of the board propped it up a bit higher. Now for the good stuff: the case feels well built, sounds nice, the stabs are a huge upgrade over the stock crap I was using before, the RGB looks great and is very flexible, the software is highly customizable and has great macro support, absolutely zero noticeable input delay or rollover issues, and even the included cable is pretty sweet. Honestly really enjoy using this board, I don’t see myself upgrading past it any time soon. Again, all my criticisms are basically non-issues in day to day use, and this is overall a 5 star product. These minor criticisms are really more there for the manufacturers’ benefit than users because all of these issues are pretty easy fixes if they were to make another edition of the board and this is just my two cents. To someone looking at getting into custom mech keyboards, this is one of the best options out there and I stress again that after messing with this board for a while I absolutely do not see myself needing to upgrade any time soon.
