Im just starting to learn embroidery, and Ive picked up a few of these types of kits to learn before tackling huge projects. This was a great deal, with 3 kits at a good price. Everything you need is in here. The patterns are printed clearly, and the colors chosen are very nice. Overall, Im very happy with this!

Three very cute patterns to follow as a beginner. Plenty of floss and the kit comes with everything you need. I wish the hoop was wood, but that’s okay since the price is right.

I order these embroidery kits quit often. This butterfly kit is by far one of the best I have ordered. I want to say right off that the thread is broke down and divided on a nice card. Many of the kits I ordered do not do this. You have to do it yourself and it is time consuming. The fabric is a good quality and the thread is ok as well. The design got me on this one, butterflies and flowers. This kit is great for beginners or experienced, the instructions are easy to read and understand. Will definitely order more like this kit.

I am giving embroidery a try for the first time. I read a lot of historical fiction, and I am always intrigued by the image of ladies sitting down to embroider or do other handicrafts. I have failed at knitting and crochet. Embroidery, since I have some basic sewing experience, seemed it might be more accessible to me. This set caught my eye. The butterfly art is actually beautiful, and I like the way the flowers mimic the shape of the butterfly. I want to make these! This kit is awesome. It gives me confidence that I can do this. There are three separate patterns with cloth, the appropriate thread/floss, needles and instructions. There is one frame. It is a larger frame, which is good requiring less good eyesight and dexterity. I chose what I think is the simpler pattern, loaded it on the frame, and tried a few stitches. The instructions are fairly clear, although I have had some questions Ive had to check online for answers. But I seem to be able to do it. Its going to take me forever, especially this first time until I get the stitches down, but this kit gives me the tools, instructions, and confidence that I can get it done. It looks so cool so far, and I cant wait to work on it some more over the weekend.

I have occasion to be required to sit for long periods of time. I purchased this embroidery kit to give my hands something to do. The kit comes with everything you need to complete a small embroidery project. Both expert and novice will find this kit complete and useful.

This embroidery kit is cute. Its fun! The directions are clear on what colors to use and what stitch to use. I like that the design is already drawn on the fabric, making it easier to work. Its a good quality and comes with all of the items you need to do the embroidery.

I am very impressed by the quality of this three piece embroidery kit, especially at such a bargain price. I do a ton of these kits and quality varies widely. This set gets full marks from me on pretty much all aspects. First the material. It is a good weight and thread count for embroidery which will leave you with a finished product that is suitable for framing, turning into a pillow decoration, etc. The pattern is adequately detailed with very little freestyle required, making it a good choice for both beginners and more experienced embroiderers. The hoop supplied is nice plastic with a tightening screw that actually works. In my experience, many sets include very cheap hoops that strip after the first use or cant be tightened correctly from the get go. The instructions are printed on glossy paper (not wisp thin, matte printer paper) and large enough to read without a magnifying lens. The embroidery floss is not the absolute best as it does have a small amount of pilling along some threads. Overall I would rate the floss supplied as middle of the road. Not the best but far and away not the worst either. The amount given is more than enough to complete the kits and are nicely separated/numbered. Finally, the patterns in this kit are very pretty. Ive included a few pics of my started project, a close up of the material and pattern instruction. I will add a pic of the completed project once finished. I highly recommend this embroidery set.

A lot of beginner samplers have designs that I dont enjoy and would never do anything with. These flowers are beautiful and I would like them hanging around my house or incorporated into a pillow.

I was in elementary school, and I only did straight stitches I believe. I use crafts as a way to relax, and I decided to give embroidery a try again for a change of pace. This kit has been fun to work with. Well, it has been since I started using a needle threader. Hahaha. The instructions are good enough to get you going, although they are printed small. There’s a ton of short video tutorials online if you need a bit more assistance. There are a couple of things that surprised me with this kit, in a good way. First, the hoop is better than I expected for one that comes with the kit. It holds the cloth taut, and I haven’t had to tighten it up again after working on the project for a few hours. The embroidery cloth is also a lot better quality than I expected. The floss seems to be a mid-range floss. It looks a little “fuzzy” once on the cloth. It is easy to work with, and I’m not having any issues with the floss breaking while using it. The cloth is printed clearly. The design has large areas for the most part, so it does make it an easier pattern for a beginner. There aren’t too many different stitches to need to learn to do these designs, but there are enough to get a good look with different textures, which is what I like about embroidery. I’m definitely still learning and working at getting my stitches looking even. I imagine my first design is going to look a bit of a mess, and it will definitely be a “training” project. That said, I am enjoying working on these.

A great set for beginners, instructions seem pretty clear and simple to follow, came with everything you need to get started ! Very excited to try these beautiful patterns out !
