> 3 dayThis is such a great kit for beginners. I crochet and am adding cross stitch into my hobby rotation. This seems like a great way to get started and ensure I have the correct supplies

> 3 dayThis is a nice embroidery kit. The pattern is easy to follow and after completion washes out nicely. The thread is a nice middle of the line thread. It glides through the fabric without too much tangling. This reduces frustration when stitching. The thread is well organized, which increases ease of following the directions. Overall, a fun stitch with a beautiful end product.

> 3 daySome of the institutions on the different stitches weren’t easy to understand, pretty sure I didn’t do the stitches properly on one section. Still trying to figure it out. Not sure I would call this a beginner’s set, but that’s just my opinion.

Greater than one weekMy Mom was talking about how she really wanted to get back into embroidery as she hadnt done it in years. When I saw this kit, I knew I had to get it for her (It will be a Christmas gift). This is a great kit for starters (or someone coming back to it after a long hiatus). It has everything you could need; needles, thread, pattern, and a hoop. It looks great and I look forward to gifting it to her.

17-04-2025This kit comes with three different patterns. They are outlined and come with directions. If this is your first time ever doing embroidery you will need to know how to do basic stitches. My wife had to look up a few different videos on YouTube as she had never done embroidery before. This is a great kit though.

> 3 dayEverything that you need is in this set. The preprinted material, the threads, the needles, the hoop, and even an instruction booklet. The instructions are way to follow and include visuals. If you have never, ever done embroidery before you might also need a YouTube video to help you out, but if you’ve had any experience with embroidery you will be good to go. The instructions also show which stitches should be used on which part of the pattern, how many strands of thread to use, and (of course) which color. I was impressed that the threads are already sorted by color. Most kits I’ve used have them all thrown together and you have to separate them and figure out the color number. These are already sorted on a nice cardboard spool and labeled by number. I love that! As the description states, there is only one hoop. So if you plan to leave the embroidery in the hoop and hang it that way, you will need to buy two more hoops since there are three patterns/cloths.

> 3 dayI’m relearning to embroider to pass time and these provide the right bit of challenge. They’re cute and the materials are good quality.

Greater than one weekI don’t think I’ve seen any embroidery patterns like this before. The butterflies merging with the flowers. It’s such a unique picture! So the beauty of this idea really makes me like this a lot already. Having started on the blue butterfly wiht yellow flowers, I’m so far very impressed with the instruction booklet and the vibrancy of the threading colors. The colors are really making the design pop!! Plus, the instructions for stitching are really quite easy and helpful so it is great for stitch beginners.

> 3 dayProduct: GLTAYLMY Embroidery Kit for Beginners Adults,3 Set Cross Stitch Kits with 1 Plastic Embroidery Hoops, Needles and Color Threads, Needlepoint Kit for Hand Embroidery Starter It’s been many, many decades since I’ve embroidered. I was in elementary school, and I only did straight stitches I believe. I use crafts as a way to relax, and I decided to give embroidery a try again for a change of pace. This kit has been fun to work with. Well, it has been since I started using a needle threader. Hahaha. The instructions are good enough to get you going, although they are printed small. There’s a ton of short video tutorials online if you need a bit more assistance. There are a couple of things that surprised me with this kit, in a good way. First, the hoop is better than I expected for one that comes with the kit. It holds the cloth taut, and I haven’t had to tighten it up again after working on the project for a few hours. The embroidery cloth is also a lot better quality than I expected. The floss seems to be a mid-range floss. It looks a little “fuzzy” once on the cloth. It is easy to work with, and I’m not having any issues with the floss breaking while using it. The cloth is printed clearly. The design has large areas for the most part, so it does make it an easier pattern for a beginner. There aren’t too many different stitches to need to learn to do these designs, but there are enough to get a good look with different textures, which is what I like about embroidery. I’m definitely still learning and working at getting my stitches looking even. I imagine my first design is going to look a bit of a mess, and it will definitely be a “training” project. That said, I am enjoying working on these.
