> 24 hourThe phone worked great out of the box with my T-Mobile SIM. If you intend to use the phone as-is, then you probably wont run into this issue. I needed the phone for development work, so I had to flash the phone with a test build of Android. After flashing, the phone is no longer unlocked -- it shows a notification telling me that I need permission from Soft Bank to use my SIM. Ordinarily, this should not happen, since if the phone were really unlocked, it should have shown up as unlocked in the IMEI database. So, it seems that - The seller is sourcing locked phones instead of factory-unlocked phones, and then contacting the carrier to get them unlocked. - The phones from Soft Bank are not properly unlocked. They appear to be unlocked, but if you manage to lose whatever local setting that makes the phone appear to be unlocked, then youre out of luck.

> 24 hourI initially tried the Pixel 5 and returned that to Google. Then i waited until the 4A5G was perfected and got it last week. Easy to work with - good size on the various touch pads so i can use it easily. It seems to be the perfect upgrade from my Moto-x4 and i am very glad i got it. It comes packed with a charger . cord and pin device to get access to the sim card tray which is so easy to use. Sound is very good and can get as loud as i want. I am extremely happy with this phone.

> 24 hourShort and sweet. My first venture into a Google phone and like everything Google it is the best. The layout and functions are easy to navigate and as for the camera, better than my Nikon. The display is crystal clear and it comes with an earphone jack which for me is great because I love to listen to audiobooks and my wire-less earbuds lose power too often. More features than I have time to go into but I can say more than others. Just a novice review but by a very happy buyer.

> 24 hourThe Pixel is a lot like the Samsung Galaxy, but better priced and a bit smaller for the pockets, you know. I wish I knew that new apps were Introducing themselves ALL THE TIME. And it will is a pain to get rid of them. Now there is a Chat app I cant get off the screen. There is a lot of junk on the phone that I do not need. And the predictive text is now using pictures instead of the word. Wish I had known...

> 24 hourGreat phone! My first Pixel and I love it. Even though its 60hz, its still smooth. NO BLOATWARE!! Just straight stock Android. Battery life is actually very good. I went to sleep at 10pm with 89% battery and woke up with 85% battery. By noon, I was at 58% with heavy use... Twitter, You Tube etc. By 6pm I was at 35% battery. Im OK with that! Dont buy the $1200 phones. If you want all the gimmicks then go ahead and pay the $1200. Ill never buy an expensive phone ever again!

> 24 hourCheck IEMI number with carrier before opening. The IEMI number is on the outside of the box. DO NOT unwrap the phone before checking the number with your carrier for compatibility. If NOT opened a refund is available otherwise maybe a restocking fee. I own a Pixel 4a 5G and its a nice phone but call carrier support first. A Pixel 4a 5G is a good phone. An IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity

> 24 hourI will keep this review short and sweet. I got this phone mainly because Qi charging was listed as supported. [17] Qi-compatible. Wireless charger sold separately. No. It is not Qi-compatible. If you want to charge it wirelessly, you need to buy a receiver -- not the same as a charger. Even with a receiver you will still need a charging pad. Ive seen all sorts of misleading information about this feature and Pixel phones. Some even saying that wireless charging support came in around Pixel 3. According to Google -- this phone does not support Qi charging. If you want the wireless charging, get the Pixel 5.
