> 3 dayFixed very well! It has a very good thickness, super resistant, does not lose its glue and does not break easily. I was very pleased as it held my boxes very well.

09-06-2025I got this tape because I send large heavy packages (Flat rate Medium Boxes around 13lbs) every day and often times internationally. I have issues with the boxes coming open or ripped in the mail so I have recently been over taping with large amounts of tape with either the regular 3M packing or other cheap packing tape. Now with this reinforced tape I can use WAY less tape and achieve a stronger bond. There is no odor to the tape and just by the extra effort it takes to cut the tape with the dispenser you can tell how much stronger this tape is. It works will in my regular 3M dispenser and will probably be my tape of choice moving forward for shipping.

09-06-2025Suitable for oddly shaped materials or a simple parcel, a great alternative to normal nylon tapes for packages that need extra protection.

> 3 dayIve used heavy duty filament tape at the warehouse for a close to a couple of decades now, so Im very accustomed to this type of packaging. One thing that Ive learned over the past several years is that there are different thicknesses to both the clear packing tapes that we use AND the filament tapes that we use. Ive used some filament tapes that are thicker, stronger, and lay flatter without wrinkling, and Ive used thinner filament tapes that are more prone to wrinkling. This is somewhere in between, and closer to the thinner side of the spectrum in terms of how it dispenses and lays across boxes. Where Im a little confused is that the industrial filament tape that we use is 6 mil (we use to seal boxes that exceed 40 lbs.), and is noticeably thicker and flatter-laying than this tape, which is advertised as 5.5 mil. This 5.5 mil tape just seems very close to the 4 mil economy filament tape that we use (used at the warehouse to seal 20-39 lb. boxes). Id think if this is 5.5 mil vs. the 6 mil of our industrial grade, it would be closer to the industrial grade in terms of how it functions and lays across boxes, but thats not the case. Kind of perplexing to me... In any case, I didnt want to swipe a roll from work, but I could sure use a roll or two of filament tape around my house, and so this will do the job just fine. I like that it has a lead-roll indicator strip (it sounds trivial, but weve bought BOXES of tape at work that have NO ROLL-START LINE INDICATOR ON THEM -- takes forever to find where the thing starts!). Overall, I give this a 4 out of 5 and will have plenty of utility for it around the house when taping up heavy boxes and such. Bonus that I didnt have to buy a full case of it, although you are paying a premium for a single roll (if youre running through this kind of tape like water, as we do at the warehouse, look for bulk packs -- such as 4 or 6 rolls -- or entire cases which are normally 24 to 36 rolls, and the price-per-roll will be lower).

> 3 dayThis tape is very heavy duty. I used it for moving boxes and it worked so well. I love how durable it is and at the same time affordable.

> 3 dayThe box you put this tape on will give out before this tape does in my opinion. That is how sturdy it is. As long as you seal your box and put it at key points your package is good to go.

> 3 dayI was bummed because I didnt get their special tape gun and I didnt understand how the tape material worked. I left a review as such, and got a gracious, informative note from the company. For me, customer service goes a long way, and these people get 10 stars in that department. Just know if you get the tape, be sure to get the gun that cuts it better than a traditional tape gun.

> 3 dayI do a fair amount of shipping and use packing tape on every box. Typically, I use the normal clear. Sometimes I need a stronger tape, especially when I am packing dishes or crystal. I wanted to be sure the tape is strong. The goStaunch tape is what I needed. Normally I use 3.1 mil tape, the goStaunch is 5.5, so almost twice as thick. The adhesive is good, no issues. But the fiberglass reinforcement is what makes the tape stand out. It is not going to easily be broken or cut. I have the goStaunch loaded in a tape gun. It rolls easy, but as would be expected it is a little tougher to cut it with the teeth that are on the gun. I practiced cutting a little bit, and found a little harder, quick cut was the best for me. I now have a gun with the standard 3.1 mil, and another with the goStaunch for when I need the extra strength. Aside from shipping, it would be a great tape for someone just packing moving boxes to put across the bottom to keep it from opening/dropping out. The goStaunch solves my need for a heavier, stronger tape. Recommended for packing when you need the extra security.
