> 3 dayExcellent holding. My major issue was the general tapes not sticking to the recycled boxes. I loved how it sealed those boxes with just one layer of the tape.. Wow… Problem Solved!!!

> 3 dayIve used heavy duty filament tape at the warehouse for a close to a couple of decades now, so Im very accustomed to this type of packaging. One thing that Ive learned over the past several years is that there are different thicknesses to both the clear packing tapes that we use AND the filament tapes that we use. Ive used some filament tapes that are thicker, stronger, and lay flatter without wrinkling, and Ive used thinner filament tapes that are more prone to wrinkling. This is somewhere in between, and closer to the thinner side of the spectrum in terms of how it dispenses and lays across boxes. Where Im a little confused is that the industrial filament tape that we use is 6 mil (we use to seal boxes that exceed 40 lbs.), and is noticeably thicker and flatter-laying than this tape, which is advertised as 5.5 mil. This 5.5 mil tape just seems very close to the 4 mil economy filament tape that we use (used at the warehouse to seal 20-39 lb. boxes). Id think if this is 5.5 mil vs. the 6 mil of our industrial grade, it would be closer to the industrial grade in terms of how it functions and lays across boxes, but thats not the case. Kind of perplexing to me... In any case, I didnt want to swipe a roll from work, but I could sure use a roll or two of filament tape around my house, and so this will do the job just fine. I like that it has a lead-roll indicator strip (it sounds trivial, but weve bought BOXES of tape at work that have NO ROLL-START LINE INDICATOR ON THEM -- takes forever to find where the thing starts!). Overall, I give this a 4 out of 5 and will have plenty of utility for it around the house when taping up heavy boxes and such. Bonus that I didnt have to buy a full case of it, although you are paying a premium for a single roll (if youre running through this kind of tape like water, as we do at the warehouse, look for bulk packs -- such as 4 or 6 rolls -- or entire cases which are normally 24 to 36 rolls, and the price-per-roll will be lower).

> 3 daySays what it does, does what it says. This is my favorite shipping tape to use on my business shipments.

Greater than one weekThis stuff is great for reinforcing boxes. There was one move when I knew I needed to load quickly and I would be tired when unloading so I packed accordingly using clothes as cushions and reinforced the boxes with strapping tape like this. I slung the boxes on the truck and stacked them when I had enough on it so I wouldnt have to keep going up and down from the truck with each box. Then, I literally threw them off the truck when at the destination to put less strain on me. Each box held up with strapping tape like this wrapped at key points around the boxes. I was able to make the transfer of our stuff from one place to another using this technique. I dont like the process of moving, by the way, so it was a little fun to just throw our stuff around. I packed it well so nothing got broken. Clothing is a cheap and very effective packing material.

> 3 dayThere are times when you need a stronger tape, and this is it. Thickness is about twice as thick as most packing tapes, the adhesive sticks well to cardboard boxes, and fiberglass reinforcement makes it super strong. Just be aware that you will not be able to cut this with your hands or teeth- make sure you have good scissors nearby. Overall, great tape when you need it.

> 3 dayThis tap is strong. Its Fiberglass reinforcement makes it ideal for using on big boxes or or shipping things you really dont want opened easily. I used it to tape up heavy boxes with. Seems just as strong as any other tap Ive used. A little pricy but this tap is top quality in the durability and adhesive department.

Greater than one weekTape is really thick and holding up nicely so far. The tape fits my tape gun nicely as well!

Greater than one weekThis is very strong strapping tape. It has the fiberglass threads running through it that makes it strong and durable. For me this is much better than the standard clear tape where it breaks, tangles or you cant find the end or edge and its frustrating. This tape is 5.5 mm thick and I can find the edge easy by feel and even see the edge. It also sticks to the surface without needing to be pressed down again and again. Very good tape.

> 3 dayI got this tape because I send large heavy packages (Flat rate Medium Boxes around 13lbs) every day and often times internationally. I have issues with the boxes coming open or ripped in the mail so I have recently been over taping with large amounts of tape with either the regular 3M packing or other cheap packing tape. Now with this reinforced tape I can use WAY less tape and achieve a stronger bond. There is no odor to the tape and just by the extra effort it takes to cut the tape with the dispenser you can tell how much stronger this tape is. It works will in my regular 3M dispenser and will probably be my tape of choice moving forward for shipping.
