> 24 hourThis is one of those products that has a lot of upsides but several downsides. To preface, I have a roughly 20-square-foot white tile floor in my apartment bathroom. When I moved in, the grout was very discolored and made the tile look dirty. I was extremely skeptical about this product, but it was a reasonably priced solution and a top seller on Amazon, so I gave it a shot. I followed the very simple directions on the pen (clean floors, remove cap, shake pen, use), and was initially amazed by the results. My nearly gray tile grout was being transformed back to white. Although, after I got through about 6 square-feet of tile, the pen tip started to fall apart. Was it still usable? Yes. Did it hinder the quality of the paint job? Also yes. Additionally, the paint ran out much quicker than expected. I was able to get a single coat on the entire tile floor, but the 60 meters of coverage they claim is a little far fetched. Nonetheless, my tile floors look good. A couple tips (no pun intended): get two pens because the coverage is less than advertised, apply 2 coats, REALLY clean the floors before you start (I didn’t deep clean nearly enough and the grime made the paint job much harder), consider another solution unless you have white tile as well (I feel as if this pen would not be great if you needed to be precise), and don’t push as hard on the tip to increase the pen’s longevity. Hope this helps! Still a good product, just a couple things to keep in mind before you buy.

> 24 hourThis product works well for its purpose (covering up faded grout) but my main complaint is that the tip quickly becomes useless, much sooner than the grout pen “ink” is used up. Even turning the tip around to get a new sharper edge doesn’t make it last long enough.

> 24 hourThe marker tip did not last more than 1/3 capacity of marker. I have to cut open the marker top and use a point paint bush to use up the paint left inside the marker. For an average shower tile wall, you need at least 2-3 markers.

> 24 hourI wasnt even finished touching up the relatively few areas of grout that had mildew stains in my small shower, and the tip became frayed and was impossible to get a precise application and even get more solution out of the tube. Update: After I submitted this review, the company contacted me right away, apologized, and wanted me to be happy with the purchase. The rep, Ashley, explained how to use the product to avoid the issues I had. If only I had known those instructions beforehand! She also refunded me the purchase price AND said shed send me replacement tips. What incredible customer service! I am changing my rating from 1 to 5 stars. I will definitely buy from this company again.

> 24 hourWe have an original bathroom floor (built 1950s) with 1 tile. We have not been able to keep the grout clean, so I thought I would give the grout pen a try. 1. It works, as you can see in the pictures. 2. Because of the amount of grout, I had to buy seven pens to get to the second picture. I bought three more to finish it off which I have yet to do. 3. This is time-consuming work. Because the grout was wider than the pen, I had to go over each grout line several times. 4. The pen is frustrating. It starts off working well, then it needs priming which smashes the tip so you no longer have a fine line. This worked for me because my grout was wider than the pen tip, but it would be hard to keep a fine line otherwise. I finally started priming with my fingers to try to keep the pointed tip, but that only worked for a while. I even flipped the pen tip to try to keep the fine line, but eventually both ends were smashed. 5. It was really hard to know if there was more grout in the pen, so I may have thrown away pens that still had grout, but it wasnt coming out, so I tossed the pen. I see this as a temporary solution, but I am thrilled with how my floor looks. I am not sure how long the grout will hold up, but this is good for now.

> 24 hourSo I was going back and forth on if I wanted to do this or not and even though I’m done, I’m sure not certain if I like it better. I’m very nervous to see how it wears and washes. Over all it was super easy to work with and put on, I got the thin tip and it was still too wide, especially when the grout begins to tear up the end. Also with the white I had to go over it 3 times because it was black to begin with.

> 24 hourInitially I had trouble getting the pen to work. After a bit, I was able to get it going. Hopefully now that I have used one and know what to do to get it started the next one will work even better

> 24 hourThis is a repeat order. Love this product. When your grout is dirty and nothing seems to help, this will work wonders. Easy to apply, long lasting.
