Love this grout pen easy to use and makes my grout look like new

Pretty good but tip get worn out fast

The product works well.. I did feel it didn’t last as long as I thought it would.. I was working in a standard size kitchen and I have used 4 pens.. I’m not sure if this would be normal for the product or not

I really liked the pen when I did the first 3 square feet of tile. However it is not long lasting. It started to dry out after I had done only 1/4th of my countertops and once it was drier, the tip frayed. I liked it enough to buy a another to finish the kitchen however the second did not allow ink to flow as smoothly as the first. It didn’t cover the grout well like the first 1/4th of the kitchen and frayed even faster.

I bought two of these for my spare bathroom where the white grout had yellowed…bam this pen worked great!

I was tired of looking at the greyed grout in my bathroom and I was hoping this would perk them up without the time and effort re-caulking would take, and it worked. It looks good. It was quick and easy to use and it has brightened up the walls. It feels clean and fresh again, without a painstaking full on caulk project. Now to address some of the negative comment made by others: For the tiles with cracked or missing pieces of caulk, they needed to be re-caulked. This pen was made to stick to existing caulk, it is not to be used to patch a crack or a hole, it really wont do the trick. The pen tip does get frayed but you can pull it out and turn it around and use the other side. It is not a super fine tip, so you may color outside the lines. This is not a big deal. Once it is dry, a straight razor blade will clean the edges quickly and neatly, It wont take long at all. I dont think the pen is a long term fix for high traffic areas, like the floor, the tiles that get hit constantly during a shower, or a counter top that gets cleaned multiple times a day. Those should be re-done with proper caulking. But I am very happy with the look of my refreshed bathroom and how little effort it took to get it.

I ordered five of these pens (3 different orders). The first pen worked great to cover the stain on the grout between my bathroom tile. It restored the tile to a beautiful white color, making the shower look clean and crisp. It was pretty easy to use... most of the time. Some of the time, I had trouble getting the colorant to flow properly, making the task grind to a halt as I attempted over and over to get it flowing. There were at least 2 out of the 5 pens I ordered that I couldnt get to work. Since I was trying to sell the house, it was a real pain to have to stop working on it and order a new pen and wait for it to ship. Had all 5 pens worked, I wouldve been able to cover 2 shower stalls worth of tile in standard sized tub/shower combination bathrooms. I gave 4 stars because I loved the pens when they were working as they should. My advice: Order one or a few extra depending on the size of your job so it can be completed in a timely manner. The other option I tried was a paint on and wipe technique using grout colorant that you pour into a little container and literally use a tiny paint brush to apply the colorant. This technique also worked, but I found it more tedious than the grout pen.

When the package is first used, it work very well. But the applicator tip frays quickly. The tip can be removed and turned over, but it will fray quickly too. I resorted to cutting the container open, pouring the contents into a cup and using a brush to use it up. The product, once applied works very well.

I found it very easy to use and it instantly refreshes old grout lines to look like new! I used this on our white tiled kitchen counters and island, the area that gets the most discolored from food. I used to use white paint with a small paint brush to refresh the grout in the kitchen, but that would take time and start to peel off and not last that long. If chunks of grout actually came out (rare), I assume Id need to mix some grout and fill it with that, but for discolored tile, I just quickly use this on top of my old discolored grout lines, and its fantastic, I would buy this again for my needs. it probably helps that the tile is white too, but if i go over the grout line onto the tile, it easily comes off the tile. I just got this pen, so i couldnt review the longevity or easy to remove yet. I also dont know how this would work in the shower where water gets on it all the time, our shower tiles dont have white grout and arent discolored. But for the kitchen with white tile and white grout, its so far ideal!

The marker tip did not last more than 1/3 capacity of marker. I have to cut open the marker top and use a point paint bush to use up the paint left inside the marker. For an average shower tile wall, you need at least 2-3 markers.
