I never review products but I felt compelled to review this. These are absolutely a must have if you own a table saw. I used them for the first time today on my Powermatic 66 which lacks the newer safety features. I feel very comfortable and safe using these compared to using the old push stick. I will also be using these for the jointer and band saw. I was skeptical at first due to the $200 tag, but based on other positive reviews I would give them a try and very glad I did. Its a small price to pay to help from having a finger cut off. To add to the safety of my saw I also just ordered the Micro Jig splitters.

Gotta love the product and its safety/function, but for $250 a pair for the deluxe you would think it came assembled. Let alone all of the wasted plastic as each module is packed in separatly.

You can never be too safe when working with a table saw, this is a GREAT tool for anyone with a table saw. This kit comes with many options that help guide wood while guarding fingers and hands from possible danger. Its worth having to help insure you and your family are extra safe running a table saw. It takes a little learning but once you use it youll never run your saw without it. An extra layer of safety.

The Micro Jig GRR-RIPPER is a jig that lets you hold various-shaped boards that you want to cut through the middle -- from the top and outer edge. Its similar for many purposes to having your own custom-build jig. Takes less than an hour to assemble. One of the best uses for this product is cutting thin hardwood strips, similar to whats shown in the product pic, where it would be unsafe to hold the outer edge yourself near the blade. Its good there are 2 of them.

This product should be re-named Finger Saver because this is what it does. Long overdue! One step closer to a perfect world.

I got these as a tool aficionado, knowing that they are basically push-blocks, but wanting to try them due to the positive (although not extremely in-depth) reviews. When I opened up the box, it was full of two boxes and multiple blister packs, so this is a true compilation of multiple items (actually, it is two of the latest version of the push blocks and two packs of all the accessories). Im an engineer, but I was actually a bit overwhelmed for a second due to all the complicated looking parts and hardware, but the... INSTRUCTIONS were some of the best I have ever seen in my life. Honestly. They have some real engineers and some real technical writers working for them - and the two groups communicate. Not only do they color code, separately bag, and label their parts, but they have excellent pictures and they even tell you WHY when they tell you not to do something or to do something a certain way. I love that. I put one set together with instructions before reading about what the tool does, which worked well for me, because I learned most of it on my own just by assembly. QUALITY - the entire time I was assembling this, I was thinking of the fantastic quality. Not sure what type of plastic this is, but I know it is the good kind because you rarely see it except in high end applications. (plastic obviously makes sense in case you do let your blade come in contact). Machined inserts are abundant, and rubber 0-rings are used to keep full assemblies together with their hardware when temporarily removed from the main unit. Will you use it? Yes. All the thumb screws and easy adjustability mean that you can make it what you need it to be in just a second and it will work for you. Even if you are a tough guy who doesnt care about bodily harm, if you care about your work piece, youll find this worth using. Its good enough to make up for the few short seconds itll take to get them set up to your liking. Do you need two? Yes. Two pack is a good idea. Do you need all the accessories? Maybe not all. The deflector/connector is maybe a little weak, although I can see it could come in handy under the right circumstances. I actually thought the followers were a little weak, but today already I found myself very thankful for them. Not sure if you really need every single piece in here (like, two sets of some of the accessories is a bit much), but I certainly dont mind having them. Im sure they will all get used at some point. Conclusion: I am really impressed with this tool, especially as an engineer. Sometimes safety isnt too exciting, but this is actually a great way to ensure the quality of your small cuts, and small cuts are something I tend to do a lot. I would recommend to almost anyone who likes to play around with table saws and routers with tables.
