> 3 dayMicro Jig GRR-RIPPERs are the best push blocks money can buy. Yes, theyre more expensive than cheap push blocks but are your fingers worth a few extra bucks? Thats not a joke, table saws are one of the most (potentially) dangerous tools in woodworking, and personally, I want to have the safest workflow I can possibly have. I now have 3 GRR-RIPPERs and set two them up for different cuts I commonly make (so I dont have to keep adjusting them) and have the third that I can customize to make other cuts as needed. If youre a woodworker and havent tried GRR-RIPPERs yet, you owe it to yourself to give them a shot. Theres a reason so many successful woodworkers use them. They make using the table saw much safer.

> 3 dayI love having 2 just like the videos show, so you can do long pieces. I also prefer using these over sticks, shoes, or whatever else youre using to push your work through. These offer way more control and theres a reason pretty much every youtuber uses these. I love using them on thin stock too to keep it against the table. Pretty much a must have for a table saw, I wouldnt feel safe using anything else these days. Only reason I took a star away is because the kit has stuff Ill probably never use but I guess its ok to have.

> 3 dayYes, they are expensive. But losing a finger would be more expensive. Buying these was the best investment Ive made in safety equipment. I love these. Aside from the safety reasons for getting them, I find that my cuts have less blade burns. I am able to keep a better feed rate on the workpiece. And thin cuts are a breeze. Definitely, a must have for my shop.

> 3 dayYou can never be too safe when working with a table saw, this is a GREAT tool for anyone with a table saw. This kit comes with many options that help guide wood while guarding fingers and hands from possible danger. Its worth having to help insure you and your family are extra safe running a table saw. It takes a little learning but once you use it youll never run your saw without it. An extra layer of safety.

> 3 dayI have been involved in woodworking for a long time. I saw the Micro-Jig GRR-RIPPER years ago at a woodworking show and dismissed it as a gimmick because I felt it looked like a toy. Recently I needed to rip a large number (50+) of 3/32” strips of hardwood. I purchased a few different thin strip rip guides and none of them produced consistent, repeatable results. I saw a video for the GRR-RIPPER here on Amazon and decided to take another look, so I purchased a set for my 10” cabinet saw. I am very glad I did. The GRR-RIPPER Complete 2-pack is incredible and worth the purchase price. I was able to precisely rip all of the 3/32” strips with end-to-end consistency and accuracy. The level of control of the workpiece is incredible. Yes, 3/32” is thinner than the 1/8” leg of the GRR-RIPPER is intended for ripping and at this thickness the 1/8” leg is sacrificial, but that is to be expected and the 1/8” leg is easily replaceable. Yes, you need to assemble the GRR-RIPPER yourself, but there is a good reason for this. The GRR-RIPPER is so versatile and customizable for a wide variety of woodworking tasks that without knowing how the unit is assembled you will never realize the full potential and versatility of this tool. The construction of the GRR-RIPPER is very well thought out and it is obvious that the people at Micro-Jig understand the issues we woodworkers face on a daily basis. Something so simple as a rubber o-ring to hold screws in place is a real time saver. I have a new appreciation for Micro-jig products and plan on purchasing additional accessories in the near future.

Greater than one weekThis kit is on the very high end of price, but short of buying a Sawstop tablesaw, this is the single best piece of safety equipment you can buy. More solid and confidence inducing than push blocks, and less finicky than feather boards. All of the components feel like quality phenolic; its a heavier, more durable plastic. Theres a box full of components, and I found the video on the companys website to be handy, though the written instructions were enough. The varied adjustments mean that you can dial in the way youre grabbing the workpiece with these, even with thin or tiny pieces. The resulting grip actually gives me smoother cuts and less burns, (while keeping my fingers attached to the rest of me).

> 3 dayGotta love the product and its safety/function, but for $250 a pair for the deluxe you would think it came assembled. Let alone all of the wasted plastic as each module is packed in separatly.

> 3 dayDespite the somewhat high price tag and plastic components this is not a toy. It is a worthy tool and safety system. There is so much adjustability that this system can account for. Yes it does have many pieces and there is a learning curve to getting good with it, but it is worth it. The high friction pads are exactly that. They have excellent grip and create a secure hold and push system. This double pack has enough components to get you up and running to handle a lot of different stocks and cuts. Crosscuts and rips are easier to accomplish on odd shaped stock. Combine this with a SawStop and youve got a really good safety system in place. 5 stars.
