I was mislead by the good reviews and the cheap price. After using it for a couple of times, I absolutely regret buying it. Bend the wire 2 - 3 times and the connection is broken, specially at the solder spot. This will drive you crazy!!!

you can peel the coating off with your fingers, no pliers needed. so if it rubs or comes in contact with any sharp edges, it will short out.

great wire at a reasonable price. This is not the typical cheap wire that I would expect for the price. I needed a speedwire fora bank of switches that I added to my truck. I got this for a lower price than other speedwire setups, with larger conductors. I will be ordering more of this for future wiring needs.

This works great for many projects, not just for speakers.

The wire was used to rewire my boat trailer using a weather proof junction box just to protect the wiring from the weather. The boat is typically kept in a boat slip during the summer so the trailer is only used a few times annually to launch it in the lake. This spring when I went to hook the boat up after winter storage the lights no longer worked. As I go to trouble shoot I determine the wire is corroded from the inside and no longer working. I now have to rewire the entire trailer after very little use and only a few seasons of use.
