In very little time the coating on this wire becomes brittle and the wire itself oxidizes and disintegrates. Soldering it is difficult. It might be okay in a protected environment but it weathers poorly. Go with pure copper wire.

I liked this wire. It had conductors in it that conducted and insulation around it that insulated.

I really liked the plethora of colors of the wire coating, which helped us replace the birds nest wiring under the dash of our 62 Vette. PLUS, being automobile wire, means that the wire will withstand heat, abraision, & moisture
