Copper coated aluminum which would be fine if solder would stick to the cladding... but it doesnt. Even with plenty of flux and good old-fashioned lead solder. Seriously, this wire repels solder even more than stainless steel :(

This stuff doesnt hold up. You cant use it on trailer like they advertise, it will fall apart in a month in outdoor conditions.

This wire is TERRIBLE. I didnt read carefully and did not notice it is aluminum. It is fragile and difficult to make a reliable connection. It is also not AWG gauge. Amazon has real copper wire in AWG ratings for just a little higher price -- WELL worth the money.
