Greater than one weekI like the convenience and ease of use of GU Energy gels. The flavors are fine and they dont take up much space in my jersey pockets. I generally use 2 or more on rides of 1.5 hours or longer.

> 3 dayThe flavor is so good. I use it on my long bike rides and it really does its job. Gives me a steady boost without a hard sugar type crash.

> 3 dayI’ve used this product for years. When I was a triathlete I used GU so I wouldn’t hit the wall or bonk. Now I’m a tournament Pickleball player. I used GU for immediate energy during play. It works immediately.

> 3 dayIve always been a powergel fan and decided to try GU this time. No regrets. Very tasty, easy to swallow during the runs, even in those cases you have no water, you can down the thick paste and ghet some waters few minutes after

> 3 daySalted Caramel Gu is a gift from the heavens! I was only able to use chews/chops before trying this because many of the other gels would upset my stomach. I wanted to transition into gels because carrying around a marathons worth of chomps can become a bit bulky. There are a lot of decent flavored gels out there but this one wins on flavor and ease of digestion. I have been tempted to have one as a snack, thats how delicious they are.

> 3 dayI waffled between 4 and 5 stars on this one but ultimately went with 5 because this Gu fulfills its purpose perfectly: it delivers an extra hit of sodium in a largely non-revolting manner. (If youre new to Gu: most flavors have ~60mg Sodium while a few special ones have more; salted caramel has 125mg.) For me, getting the extra sodium in a delivery system that has a good chance of not being horked up into the cheering crowd (of elderly speed walkers - Im not a track star here) is crucial, and this Gu does that. Some finer points on flavor -- upon civilized taste testing it is rather like a tube of cut rate salted caramel, and out on a run where it counts the salty notes come through strong and help overcome the sweetness a bit. (A plus, for me, because its the cloying sweetness of the other non-fruit flavors that often results in the aforementioned horking.)

> 3 dayI’ve purchased a lot of GU but wanted to try a new flavor. I was not disappointed with the salted caramel. GU is my go to energy boost before and during any long run and when it tastes good it makes it even better. Love this product!

> 3 dayIve tried many different gels, chews, etc, and Gu is my favorite by far. Many of the other energy gels taste like chemicals and leave a terrible, acidic feeling in my stomach, but Ive had great luck with Gu. The chocolate outrage Gu tastes like chocolate frosting, so good! I thought that Chocolate outrage would always be my number one, until I tried the salted caramel. Wow, it really does taste like salted caramel. It tastes real, not chemical like. Its easy to squeeze into your mouth, provides a quick pick me up, doesnt upset my stomach, and tastes great. Honestly, I piloted this on a 15 mile run, and just the delicious taste alone was enough to make me feel energized! What more could I ask for? Thanks Gu!
