> 3 dayThis is definitely a budget Elmo. Bought this to make videos where Elmo sings along to songs by Lil Shordie Scott. I read a bunch of reviews that either said the mouth was too stiff to move, or that the puppet had been updated to one that was easier to use. Unfortunately, the one I got is incredibly hard to make the mouth open and close. Youd have to have a very strong, enduring thumb to make it move for more than a few minutes. The mouth is lined with felt on the outside, and is made of a mildly flexible, stiff plastic which is exposed on the inside where you put your hand. It has a smooth texture that feels fine to use. The red fabric on the outside is very soft. Elmo also doesnt really have a neck, his body is sort of a tube continuing off his head. It gets the job done for some short 15-30 sec clips at a low price point!

Greater than one weekI wanted this to play with my grandchild online. It is a good size to use comfortably. One star off due to needing to open up the stuffing to provide more padding over the mouth hinge. The mouth is very tight on arrival. The mouth material is plastic so you need to create a bend along the sew line for both the top and bottom of the mouth pieces. You can fit a thumb and finger in the arms to clap and play peek-a-boo. You cannot manipulate the arms and mouth at the same time. I am very happy I bought it. (Another good choice for adults to use online is the Aurora dog, which is good to go out of the box.)

> 3 dayMy daughter loves Elmo, so I used this puppet to give her a show. At first she was scared, but she opened up and really enjoys it. This Elmo puppet is good for the price, just wish the grip for the mouth was a bit better.

> 3 dayMy 5mos old daughter loves when we sing Elmos Song to her,so I figured itd be even better with an Elmo hand puppet. Sure enough she loves to see Elmo peeking over the edge of her crib, surprising her with her favorite song. This puppet is bright, soft and durable, and has great floppy arms ideal for baby hands to grab. Its very cute. My only complaint is that the puppets neck/head is a bit small for an adults hand (I dont even have large hands, nor does my wife), so unfortunately, its not that comfortable to wear. Thats really my only complaint. Id buy it again, but just wish it were a bit more spacious.

> 3 dayMy son loves this Elmo puppet but it doesnt look like Elmo that much. The proportions are a bit off and the nose and eyes dont really resemble Elmo exactly. But, the baby gets a kick out of it when I talk like Elmo. Also the mouth doesnt open much so its hard to make him really laugh likes Elmo loves to do. Other than that the fur is nice and construction is good.

> 3 dayPerfect size. Great quality. Its a little hard to move the mouth and arms at the same time but that is probably true with any puppet. Very loveable and true to Elmos character.

> 3 dayThis Cookie Monster is adorable, soft, stitched well, and actually looks like Cookie Monster! But why not 5 stars? Its HUGE in the width where you extend your fingers to control the arms if you have an average-sized adult hand. (Maybe LeBron could palm this, but...) The mouth is very difficult to move- for an adult its difficult, for a child its almost impossible, but hopefully thatll improve with use. However, you cant changed the width of the body. (Measurements with measuring tape in pictures)

Greater than one weekSimilar as other reviewers: Nice appearance and feel but the mouth is stiff to open. Fits my medium sized adult hand fine.
